Title: Did Wakanda also support Mrs. Mandela?
Post by: Open palm on January 30, 2007, 07:19:59 am
Can't believe I never considered this question earlier. In the years that Wakanda supported the ANC, did they also give support to Winnie Mandela around the time of her alleged crimes?

Canada has recently denied Winnie Mandela a visa to enter the country. The exact reasons aren't known but it's probably related to the convictions of kidnapping and an accessory to murder. Years later she was found guilty of fraud and theft.

So I pose the question again. Do you guys think Wakanda would have supported her during the apartheid era?

I guess it would depend on how good Wakandan intelligence was at the time. If they had evidence to the contrary saying she was inoocent then I guess they would have shown some support. Otherwise probably not but what do I know I'm just a balck porn icon.

Officially, they would probably do nothing; it's part of being an isolationist nation.  Unofficially?  ...

Depends, if T'Chaka was running Wakanda during that time he might very well
have supported the evil B.S. as long as it A)suited his purposes to do so and
B) Stayed out of Wakanda.

T'Challa unlike his predcessor actually gives a rat's ass about what happens
outside its borders. He'd of cut the money and support off right quick.
