I understand what you're saying. I believe that many comic book characters have to be bigger than any actor's performance, despite one as iconic as Snipes or Christopher Reeve's Superman. That being said, I would like Snipes to come back one more time because he got screwed in Blade Trinity. I would like him to get one more film, a Netflix series, or heck, even a guest spot on Agents of SHIELD. After that, recast and reboot the idea, but I would like to see Snipes in the role one more time. And if not him, then keep him in the Blade franchise as another character (Jamal Afari) perhaps.

Yeah. I'm looking at Deadpool 2 and New Mutants to see how they will do. I think what happens to each will influence if the MCU wants to deal with edgier material. I think it's time to add another dimension to the MCU, call it the Marvel Knights and that's where you bring in Blade, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Dr. Voodoo, etc. Perhaps even tie the Marvel Knights Universe more to the television shows since the MCU distances itself from the television shows.
