McNair, 36, who was married and had four children, had reportedly been dating Kazemi for a few months. They met at a Dave & Buster's restaurant where Kazemi worked, her former boyfriend told the Tennessean newspaper.
Neighbors of Kazemi told the paper they often spotted McNair visiting her apartment. At times, she returned home in a black limousine, and not long ago, she showed up with a brand new Cadillac Escalade she said was a gift from her boyfriend.
A mistress gone crazy? Excuse me while I go work on my shocked face. ::)
The only thing worse than dying in such a stupid manner is your family dealing w/you dying in such a stupid and EMBARRASSING manner. My only consolation is that his wife probably knew about all of this anyway.

I must have missed the part of the "game" when a married man whom is cheating on is wife would buy a brand new truck and not just any truck a f*cking esclade for his "side piece" and actually expect things to turn out well if he says no. ::)
Could you allow McNair's body to be commited to the Earth at least before you make these kind of comments?

Yall stop it. The penalty for adultery in this country is not death. This young ladies mother was murdered and she was raised by a sister. Clearly this is nothing but a tragic story for all involved. I was in college when Steve blew up and I went to school with a few guys who went to Alcorn State. Steve gave some legitimacy to the black quarterback from HBCU. This just in...no one is perfect and what he did for society through entertainment on the field and through his many charitable involvements off the field is what I want to remember this guy for. Oh yea one more thing. In college he once through for 300 freakin yards in a game and ran for another 100. HBCU or not that is a whole lot of offense. You cant even do that sh*t in Madden.
Well. I for one am sad to hear this. I wish I could be so high and mighty and condemn McNair for his personal life but unfortunately I am not as perfect as those who can condemn him. I am sad for his family and for the young woman's family. I enjoyed watching Steve play and enjoyed seeing him smash through the white wall at the quarterback position when he came into the league from a small HBCU. I didn't know him beyond that but I am saddened just the same.
is that THE girl and THE truck Akuma?yes and yes
So a man in the prime of life, a husband, father of several boys and a great humanitarian deserved to be MURDERED because he had an affair?Placing words in my mouth i see ::)
With your logic I guess if he got her an E class he should've got the shotgun treatment then.

Lulz @ slamming those of us who aren't fans of infidelity as "perfect". Condemn deez. And keep your trifling ass at home next time. Even worse, it turns out that his wife DIDN'T know. Why don't you all pretend his mistress (because married men don't have girlfriends) was a black woman? That way, you can be just as disgusted and pissed off as I am. BAWWWWWWWWW DUH PO YOUNG LADY WUZ JUST MISUNDERSTOOD BAWWWWWWWWWW Whatever, mang. If her name was LaKeisha and her parents were murdered in Compton, I wouldn't be reading any of this trifling bullsh*t. But I'm supposed to feel bad for him and his 8th rate Kim Kardashian ?
NOBODY here is saying that he deserved what he got - we're just not surprised by it. And while not everything can be avoided - hell, your wife can kill you - this could have been. What the f*ck are you doing with FOUR KIDS and you're out buying Escalades?

I don't really care.
Race really don't enter into this because if she HAD been Black we'd STILL be talking more about him then her. He was an NFL Quarterback after all.
She's the jealous girlfriend that did him in.
But that's the problem. You don't get a say in how you're characterized, because you're dead. And you're dead because your mistress killed you. Which makes this question a wee bit moot.
Besides, nobody here is suggesting anything except for maybe having jumpoffs too young to remember The Box probably isn't in your best interest. But that doesn't slander McNair, not really. No, THIS is slander.

You can't even BURY a black man before this cat shows up. Had it been a black woman, I think his heart would've burst with so much glee that he would've (finally) dropped dead.
The main thing that I got out of that article is that Whitlock is desperately envious of the athletes he covers.

Unless they're women, of course. Seriously, this guy is just BIZARRE.

But at the same time why are we defending some of the black athletes that constantly do the negatives things that makes us look bad?

Why are we expected to be the representatives of every other Black person throught our daily lives?
We are not a monolith and if someone is myopic enough to judge me solely on the basis of an athelete whom they probably don't know, that is their stupidity and I'm not going to subscribe to it.
There is a young man who just became a Rhodes scholar and will enter the NFL after his studies. What is the likelihood that this individual will be the standard by which Black men are judged?
stop the f*cking bickering or I'm locking this sh*t.
