Title: sam wilson is back
Post by: Sam Wilson on July 20, 2009, 01:44:36 pm
I'm not one for talking, but I'm OG around here I guess. Most of you old schoolers have actually met me face to face. I figure I'd give a big update since I've been off the scene lately, only popping up to hate on folks.

Anyway, in addition to working the job I work and taking care of that business (with the occasional help from a heffa, magic and curtis indeed) I've managed to find the time to get my health in order and have lost 180 lbs. No surgery, no pussy sh*t, just a regimented eating plan and a rededication to working out. In fact, I've turned around so much I'm back training mma with these brazilian cats here in ATL (jacarae over at alliance martial arts).  Not looking for another fight, but maybe an abu dabi tournament or a fight next year, or the pan am games or something. maybe.

Yeah, so I was at the bottom and in the last two years I've turned that sh*t around. YEah, I don't go out and I don't party and whatever. But I'm bigger, badder and more of a hater than I ever was. So, for those that care, I'm back.  Not 100% back, I am still a year away from my goals, but I'm 2/3 their and I'm okay with that. Word.

Uh SAM...

I am just shy of a 400 pound bench press (360) but I'm maxing out on that hopefully before the year is out.

I have done 500 on the squat although not recent but if I factor in my deadlift I may surpass you as the strongest cat on HEF!

Being 5'8" at 210 lbs. does mean that my deadlift does not have as many inches to come up as taller folks do so my max may be a few more plates.

Plus being a personal trainer at a studio just around the corner from where I live with my own set of keys means that I can work out anytime I feel like it.

Add in a Greco-Roman world champion boss and another trainer giving Gracie BJJ lessons and wrestling matches pop off like a comic book 12 page story arcs up in there.

Karo is back and training with my boss but he doesn't want me sparring with him in case he gets hurt before his next UFC match! But I'm a TROLL so I'll conveniently be there hitting the punching bag in the corner pick a fight using carefully placed verbage and youtube it real quick just as my boss did when he slammed Karo a few times at a wrestling gym! LMAO!

Hey Supreme is that you doing that cone jump on your myspace page because that workout is tight?

We do all types of stuff like that at our gym and that builds quickness crazy swift!

Flex... now why the hell did you have to do that? You've turned an uplifting and inspirational thread into a pissing contest. Put the oneupmanship in another thread.

Sam... Jesse... The two of you are doing an awesome job.

And now I'm mad at myself because I can't post my own progress here with you. But don't worry; I will. I started running last week. Mind you... I hate running, but I'm doing it anyway. I refuse to buy larger clothes.

Anyone want to run a half marathon in 2010?
Title: Re: sam wilson is back

Lion let's see...

Reggie says he could stand on his wallet to make him taller which means if you calculate Boomerang residuals times his BET Presidential salary then he is not that small. Not mad at him he earned the cash.

Sam Wilson BOASTS of his powerlifting scores which is still ahead of mine and I'm happy for him. He also talks mixed martial arts which I am very into!

And each person is listing their personal goal achievements which is sort of a competition but in all good fun.

NOW... I am a personal trainer of just over 10 years in which I have heloped people of all walks of life achieve fitness goals using every method available to encourage them to do so. This includes hugs, soft spoken words, yelling at, teasing, mocking and whatever suits each individuals personality.

People actually pay me to torture them and then bless me with gifts for it!

So Lion get over your sensitive self and just enjoy my TROLLING for what it is.

But you are right about starting another thread though...
Title: Re: sam wilson is back

Flex... Kindly f*ck off.

I don't care if you are a personal trainer, cartoonist, self-described troll, or Kanye's publicist. Hell, you could be the best damn personal trainer in the world with hands that magically suck the fat out through the nipples for all I know. Doesn't matter.

Your idea of "encouragement" was saying "Hey... I outbench/outlift you, have keys to my personal gym I can go to at my convenience, my boss is a world champion wrestler, BJJ sparring happening in the room next door, and the hot personal trainer upstairs loves to show off her melons."

You turned a "look what I did and see what I'm pulling off" thread into a "Let's see how I can outdo someone else" thread. Yeah... That's really being supportive there.

So, go take your "trophy", cram it up your ass, and find somewhere else on this board to go be a douchebag... or - better yet - slap Bros. Sam and Jesse on the back and congratulate them for pulling off something that millions of Americans struggle with every day.

Whatever you do, though, don't offer to use your magic hands to suck bodyfat out through the nipples.

Available in December you will learn about the ancient techniques of weight loss used by our instructors.

As a bonus, we will also provide at NO COST, HOOD CUISINE a special cookbook listing herbs and spices from the Motherland that are known fat-busters.

Actually Lion,

You and your inability to control your emotions and your typing just ruined that yourself.

Cussing and swearing is a sign of a lack of creatively expressing yourself and an overall weakness.

I can easily apologize to Sam or anyone else and amend fences with my TROLLING!

Did Sam apologize for his words in that rap thread when he stated that he was stronger than everyone else because I believe he directed his words at me also? Rude... but it is a forum of expression and I loved it anyway!

When Jenn rips me a new one on many an ocasion do I cry or complain or enjoy it for what it is?

When Supreme... never mind that's my BOOOOOOOOY!

When Michael... AW forget it his politics is all that and then some!

When Jonathon... bodied me with one verse I fell off the chair laughing!

Jefferson... Come on MAAAAAAAN!

SEE... that's why you can't cut it at blacksuperhero.com because your emotional weakness is showing and you are too easily rattled!

But I'm praying for you though and I forgive you your trespasses!

One day we as black men will be more like President Obama and handle thangs much better no matter what is thrown our way!

And Sam if I offended your goals or achievements, bruh it was not intended in that way!

Now go read my Super Hero Workout thread!

Well, I have stalled at 70 lbs for a few weeks.  The problem is now I have a social life.  And I am out drinking more and not being quite as good as I was before.  I'm not gaining but not losing.  Though I am hoping to start back up again tomorrow as I hit the gym  We shall see :)

And thanks for asking!  I'm really proud of you, bud!

Actually Lion,

You and your inability to control your emotions and your typing just ruined that yourself.

You don't know one f*cking thing about me, so quit pretending. You're talking out of your ass. No biggie. You've been doing that ever since you got on this board.

Cussing and swearing is a sign of a lack of creatively expressing yourself and an overall weakness.

By your standards, maybe it is. By my standards, it means I'm eschewing the formality and getting directly to the point. Again, you don't know a damn thing about me, so quit pretending.

I can easily apologize to Sam or anyone else and amend fences with my TROLLING!

Fine, then. Go do so.

Like I give a fat f*ck. I saw this and I called you out on it. I'm not planning on running around and checking every thread for what every other person does. One of the others can do it.

SEE... that's why you can't cut it at blacksuperhero.com because your emotional weakness is showing and you are too easily rattled!

Two things, "Boooooy."

1.) I don't go nor have I ever gone or wish to go to blacksuperhero.com. That's irrelevant.

2.) My "emotional weakness" is showing? Because I called you out on your bullsh*t? Or because I'm not shaking in my boots because the self-declared master troll talks back to me?

Man... you're even more of an idiot than you pretend to be.

But I'm praying for you though and I forgive you your trespasses!

One day we as black men will be more like President Obama and handle thangs much better no matter what is thrown our way!

Save your f*cking prayers and worry about yourself. I don't want them and I don't need them. You're not "righteous." In fact, you're self-righteous. There's a difference.

Since you're so busy "edumacating me" based - even though you don't know a damn thing - I'll return the favor.

You aren't as smart or cunning as you think you are. Everyone has seen through your sh*t since your very first post on the board. You're faker than a breast implant. Talking about your gym and your personal training job is the first real thing you've said since you arrived on this board... which you only did to "outdo" someone. Everything else has been pure fluff bullsh*t in a "MOMMY!!! MOMMY!!! LOOK AT ME!!!" effort to be the center of attention.

Congratulations, Troll. You succeeded.

Now see Muphasa... I mean Lion King now you are ruining everything.

Everybody returned to their regularly scheduled posting and you instead of private messaging me had to post that whole thang.

But it's OK as a personal trainer I realize that anger is better than despair so you probably burned more calories angry at me than you were if you were not angry at me.

Emotions and passion are one of the keys to getting Results.

I have clients that cuss me out a lot and it gets the juices flowing along with their metabolism so I allow it to help them achieve their goals.

It's kind of a Hulk madder I get the stronger I get scenario. Although I am careful with how far I push them though.

Now as far as the pissing contest you mentioned I find in my studies that competing with others as well as oneself like an athlete is more effective than just working out alone is.

Trying to win at something puts the whole body in a competitive mode so that shedding pounds becomes a priority even in your sleep. That is why athletes get in shape quicker than the general public because their bodies become more fuel efficient and anxious as they face upcoming trials as opposed to just stand alone workouts. Tossing and turning the night before a contest or the sheer nervousness of performance anxiety whips that body in shape sometimes in less than two weeks!

I don't see how "TYPING" from a computer far far away can get a "Hey look at me" kind of attention but OK if you say so.

And by the way prayer does work for clients because weight loss is a spiritual warfare thing that involves gluttony and sloth two deadly sins.

Sometimes when a client is going through the struggles of losing weight they need an outside source to motivate them beyond just lifting weights and cardio on the treadmill.

And yes I do know something about you by your own posts but this the first time that you have expressed it openly like this. As a personal trainer I profile people in the initial interview before we even train or touch or weight. If they have an emotional connection to something like a loved one or people at work that comment on their weight or whatever bothers them I want to know it because it will be strategically brought up during the course of my training them.

The frustrations and the resentment of letting themselves slowly slip out of shape over a long period of time and then not being able to shed those pounds quickly as they would like can cause emotional trauma to an individual.

Often support groups can help but at some point one must deal with them self in order to get their body back in order.

I am not arrogant... I am comic book cocky!

I am not self righteous... Well OK I am I admit that!

I am an asshole... but on purpose though!

Faker than a breast implant... well I do live in the Hollywood area! (Smile)

LOOK AT ME... Heath Ledger's Joker is to blame for that one!

I hope you remain angry at me and this becomes the focal point for you getting into better shape!

Love ya bruh!

And all the other HEFFAS that I offended too... use it to burn calories!

(Still TROLLING until the wheels fall off!)

Lmaof. Remember ol school HEF members when I used to say that the internet wasn't real all the time. Been a while but every time I read one of Flex's advertisements ahem I mean post I always wondered if he knew that no one really took him serious like that. On a personal note for me Flex if you start a thread I already know what it is about. Some times you may come with a good contribution to someone else thread but I must say sometimes your threads come off more about you then what the particular board section is about. Take the Black Panther thread: You posted a thread about vibranium sheets. :-\. I mean I guess it could be funny to some but to dedicate a whole thread? I guess that is your right to do but work with us brush.

10:15 AM this morning. Officially down 200 lbs. Just wanted to share.

Holy crap, great job!  ;D ;D ;D

jesse, you still going or have you hit your target? Any more dates?  ;D

I'm really proud of you, bud!

you whose that fox in the glasses? She wit you? Goddamn brother.

On a side note, with me, it's all been about the change in lifestyle, I can never go back to the way it was even if it means giving up a lot of the things I used to do. It's hard, but I made a change and it's permanent. Don't get caught in that game of "I was bad, and now I gotta be good". Just do what you do. YOu got the stuff, just stick to it.

Let me just say this brother. Right now, you are a winner, and everyone around you thinks you are a winner because of the change you made. Foxy chicas love a winner. Remember that and now sweep that filly off of her feet...

Big ups to both of you. Making that kind of change is a big deal. I still want to encourage you both to think about why and how you made the change. What made a difference for you? Seriously, we live in a country where the obesity rate is hitting 30%. So many people say they want to change and don't or can't. That you were able to raise your game is significant and important.

i just gotta say this because it's true, and curtis and magic have been to my work so they know I do this.

My coworkers are cracker bigot motherf*ckers, and don't hide it. Rather than engage them in their crackerdom, I usually tell them to shut it or I will f*ck them up. They always respond, "well, you may be able to kick my ass but I can outrun you".

They can't outrun me anymore.  They still think I'm that fat guy from 2 years ago, one of them said that to me today even.

Tomorrow someone will say it again. I will respond, "then go ahead and run bitch".

Like I said curtis, hate is my motivator...

AWESOME SAMMY !!!

Haha, I posted this comment in response to Sam's post, but just now noticed the picture of JLI Jessee and his two friends.  WOW!   :o   Jesse, you devil.  Who are those two cute girls?!!!!

Oh, and if people wanna see one upsmanship, Sammy get a loadda this: I'm 5'11" (maybe and 1/2, though I've probably shrunk), now weigh 160 pounds, same weight as when I started college ... and, on top of that ... I've eliminated every ounce of muscle mass from my body!!!  Beat that!  Hahahahahahaha!   ;D

I'm new here and I want to take a moment and say a few words.

I see we have a lot of positive contributors here some of which I've known from BSH most I haven't. That surprises me because everytime i see someone on BSH.com from here they are usually on some BS. The TWO that I'm referring to are Grimskill and Flex "Iran Harris" Hectic. They both came from here and went after me. Ya ll boy Flex even challenged me to a MMA fight in his gym only to be discovered as a fraud who has never had a fight in his life. According to his stats being "born in the suburbs of Chicago" was his greatest accomplishment. He tried to embarrass me by putting out a fake challenge that he didn't think I would take him up on. I see from reading your posts that you guys were no fan of this dumbass and I feel that I have misjudged the members here. http://www.resultsstudio.com/staff.html

been a while Sam, so I wanted to check in on the weight loss.  Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of my diet.  In that year I lost 70 lbs.  Unfortunately I played a little too hard in the latter part of the year and gained 20 lbs back.  But I am starting the year fresh and back on the diet.  I lost 3.5 last week and want to make it a total of 45 lbs more for the year!  Piece of cake.  I'm focused again and ready to rock 'n' roll!

stay with it jesse, thanks for checking in. Any more dates?

I can't stop. I'm down almost 225, 1 pants size away from my 18 year old pants (circa 1993). Size 58 when I started, almost at a size 40 now. Started training BJJ 1 a week and MMA 1 a week, in addition to the cardio and weight training. I've been busy, but It's been going pretty good. Had some injuries, but my wife is a physical therapist. I tweak my training and my diet as things change. I've been stuck inbetween pants sizes since September, but I'm almost where I want to be.

Just checking in again Sam.  As I said before I packed on 20 lbs since the summer.  But now I am back too  ;D

My first week of going hardcore on the diet and exercise and I'm down 6.8 lbs...the focus is back and I'm read to rock n roll.

First of all, congrats on the weight loss Jesse.

Secondly, whenever you post a picture, you're rolling deep with the females.  You are single handedly destroying the comic book reader stereotype.

And as for high flying Falcon, you are in my weight class now!  They are doing body fat checks at my workout class every two weeks.  Even more motivation.

jesse,

word brother. give us an update as to your chica situation as well. Again, as I said, foxy chicas love a winner, and yes, you are a winner. It only gets better the better you do.

I have some pics on my facebook, maybe I'll post them here. I'm at 230 total lost right now. I probably just won some contest at my gym, who could loose the most weight from jan 5 to march 5. I lost 14 lbs, I think the next highest was like 6. I'm ass deep in training right now, rolling BJJ and muay thai with some cats. in addition to everything else.

reggie, how many days a week are you working out? Have you seen a nutritionist or anything?
