OK, assume that Reggie and all previous BP writers/artists were unavailable.
Now, who would you want to take over the writing and drawing of BP?  Would you choose someone different for a one shot/mini rather than a on-going?

For example, for the art chores, if it was a mini or one shot, I'd want Perez or Hitch.  On-going I'd want Jiminez, Land or Davis.  (If it is Davis, I'd want a strong sci-fi writer with him.)

I'd like to see Jefte Palo (BP:SI) tackle art duties on a legacy style book for BP.  The writer doesn't matter so much for me, i'll take any crazy story as long as it's written well.

Remember, can't use people who previously worked on a BP book.

Since someone picked Mosley, I would like to see sci-fi writer Steven Barnes take a shot at BP. He wrote an excellent alternative history, Lion's Blood, in which Africans colonized America, and I think he would be up to the task. As for artists, Jamal Ingle, Tony Daniels, or Jim Lee.

People like different styles.  I find Copiel to be a very limiting appeal.  To me, his work feels sketchy, unfinished and sometimes "ugly".  On grim and gritty urban, he's ok and can fit a book like Daredevil or even New Avengers.  But that is totally wrong for BP.  Wakanda is should have super-science, futuristic feel.  Davis, Hitch,  Jiminez, or Jim Lee would give us that.

But again, different tastes for different people.

Barnes would be great.
