Title: The Devil and Kanye West
Post by: TripleX on August 07, 2010, 11:34:39 am

You've heard of people selling their soul to the satan for success in the music industry. You saw the movie Crossroads right? Kanye West did too. After his mother fell victim to his success (he paid for the cosmetic surgery that ultimately killed her) Kanye has been falling out of control. Jay Leno asked him what his mother would think about his drunken outburst toward Taylor Swift. The President called him a "jackass", South Park skewered him in an episode christening him an ego-maniacal "Gay Fish". Every media outlet has criticized and turned their backs on him. There's a persistent rumor that Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, etc. are in a secret society called the Illuminati and have traded fame and fortune for their immortal souls. There's a clip on the tube of Kanye at a concert rapping that he's sold his soul to the devil, now this...the new video for his song "Power".

The minute and forty-three second clip is a beautifully sinister depiction of Kanye West as the antichrist. He's surrounded by dark angels and unlimited references to the Illuminati, The Sword of Damocles hangs precariously over his head. The overall effect is chilling, the man who made "Jesus Walks" has apparently switched sides. What do you think?

For the record I believe the Illuminati is a bunch of superstitious hooey. If it's so secret people wouldn't use it in their conspiracy theories. It's all a calculated publicity stunt. On one hand as a Christian it unnerves me. On the other, I think it's a brilliant marketing ploy. He's making people talk again. He's taking the road numerous white artists have (Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, endless heavy metal bands, Madonna, Lady Gaga etc.) and applied it to Black culture. Y'all know we're not ready for that. The one thing that scares us most is satan. Even the most hardened Black criminal wears a cross for protection. Kanye has traded in his Jesus piece for Horus.

Art is supposed to inspire thought and that's what the video does, but ultimately all Kanye wants is attention. In any event it's a good song.

I'm sure Kanye will cite the Beatles Paul is dead campaign as an inspiration for this stunt.

The Beatles intentionally put clues in their music and album covers to incite fans who were knowledable enough to look for them.

"I had a ghetto boy bop, a Jay-Z boycott
'Cause he said that he never prayed to God, he prayed to Gotti
I'm thinkin godly, God guard me from the ungodly
But by my 30th watchin of "Streets is Watchin"
I was back to givin props again and that was botherin
By this uncomfortable as a untouchable touchin you
The theme songs that niggas hustle to seem wrong but these songs was comin true
And it was all becoming cool" - Lupe Fiasco, Hurt Me Soul

"N-ggas couldn’t do nothing with me
they put the devil on me
I would have preferred if n-ggas squeeze the metal on me
Rumours of Lucifer
I don’t know who to trust
whole world want my demise turn my music up
here me clearly, if y’all niggas fear me
just say y’all fear me
f-ck all these fairy tales
go to hell
This is God engineering
This is a Hail Mary pass,
y’all interfering
he without sin shall cast the first stone
so y’all look in the mirror
double check your appearance
b-tch I said I was amazing
Not that I’m a Mason
It’s amazing that I made it though the maze that I was in
Lord forgive me I never would’ve made it without sin
Holy water my face in the basin
Diamonds in my Rosary shows He forgave him
B-tch I’m red hot, I’m on my third six but the devil I’m not
My Jesus peice flooded but thou shall not covet
keep your eyes off my cupboard I’m a bad motherf-cker
it’s HOV
just say you love it" -Jay-Z, Free Mason off Rick Ross' new cd "Teflon Don" which is dope btw.

That was a satanic picture? It looks like concept art for a possible Black Panter film.

Horus represents the Death God and part of the Trinity that is the opposite of the Father, The son, and the Holy Spirit.

The rest of the video has fallen angels, idol worship, and Masonic imagery.

A co-worker turned me on to a dvd made by a religious group called salt of the earth where they chronicle all these video's and music clips where just about everyone you can think of in the biz is supposed to be down with this Satanic occult movement.

The big thing is the "devil horn" finger gesture that everyone is making...

Next is the thumb and index finger tip-to-tip with the other 3 fingers pointing straight is supposed to mean "666" but actually reminded me of Our Gang's Buck-Wheat "O-Tay!"

Another thing was that the Rock (roc-a-fella) diamond has now turned into the all seeing eye in the pyramid located on the rear of the dollar bill.

This dvd just went on to try and expose hidden messages in songs from Beyonce (Halo) to Neyo, to Maxwell.

The Gray Album (the hybrid mix album by DJ Danger mouse where he fused Jay-Z's Black Album with the Beatles White Album) on the track Lucifer when played in reverse it says "six-six-six...murder, murder, Jesus"

This thing just goes on and on, reaching very far at times to associate well known music, sports, and Hollywood celebrities with this movement.

Now myself, I just see this as the machine where things are done, theatrics and so on, to keep these personalities afloat in their respective dwindling markets.  But at the same time I find myself curious what, if anything, these hand gestures mean and what the accused have to say for their actions.  Before the dvd I had heard briefly about it while in my barbershop but those brothers dismissed it as if it was nothing so I assumed it was just one person but then I see the painstaking time some group took to go out of their way to compile all this footage and distribute an actual product.  Possibly it was a recruiting tool and I could see that but all the people it associated, I found myself saying "him/her too?" it was just that many individuals.

It's not really a big deal to me, what a person believes is their business, and I love hip-hop and r&b and I'll continue to listen to it, but I guess because I love it so that's what has me feeling as if I missed something.

Why wasn't Jay "Playing along" for the past year when he wouldn't even broach the subject? The closest he came to making a statement was with Angie Martinez when he basically dodged the question after she dismissed the claims as a joke.

If you actually need a smoking gun, the guy denies being a mason on a track when he HIMSELF stated that he was a mason on one of his songs. Even more his status as a mason is well known. Why the denials if he is "Playing along"?

Is the heart of the argument here that there's no way Jay Z and Kanye could be as successful as they are if they weren't devil worshippers or some such?  So the fact their music is brilliant isn't enough?

In all honesty when I watch the aforementioned videos exposing all of the masonic imagery involved in entertainment, I couldn't help but think about your presence here on the forum.

From what I've seen and heard I think it is very clear that there is a ceiling enforced not by talent but by allegiance. Conspiracy theories are a pre-requisite for any Black man but there is too much of a pattern for it to be coincidence.

If you want true superstardom you have to sell your soul.

Making pop culture is really hard.  If all you had to do was join some cult or sell out your soul to make hits, folks would do it every day.  If payola was all it took to make a smash, there would be no flops.

To make one song that everyone relates to is hard.  To make an album full, even harder.  To do that over and over again for a decade or more, almost impossible.

There's only one Michael Jackson for a reason.

I'm not saying there aren't cabals of powerful people trying to influence the world.  I'm saying there are a lot of them, with all kinds of agendas, with varying degrees of effectiveness.  I"m far from the top, but the higher I go, the less I see of a single controlling force.

If the dark arts were a sure stairway to stardom, Metal would be a bigger deal than it is.

Unless even the Devil himself is bored of that ish too now.

Again, It's strange mentioning these people in a critical sense as a stranger when you actually have worked with and personally know many of them.

I'm not talking about the hits solely, that is hard enough as you mentioned but what is even harder is getting that true global iconic status. That is where the sacrifice is made. Looking at the history of music and in particular Rap and R&B, you have usually 2 or at the most 3 driving forces of creativity that propel an entire clique or even a label.

The names are there so I won't get that deep but when you have great lyricist X and great producer Y; it's been proven you can have a deep run.

There are legendary artists in all genres of music that have no taint of this demonic influence whatsover. Stevie Wonder would've been an eternal legend if he would've stopped with SONGS IN THE KEY OF LIFE. Prince is Michael's greatest rival and I've never heard of him being in this cabal and his record speaks for itself.

The bottom line is this, the love of money is behind almost all of the evil in the world. If you are an artist and you can make a corporation money they will accept you, they won't refuse greatness and most certaintly genius just because you won't sell your soul. With that said, there are artists on the margins, the ones who can outsing your favorite diva, and can spit better than your favorite rapper; that need that push. These are the ones that fit the pattern every time.

Metal had its run.

Rap is the universal language of pop-culture.

The inclusion of rock into rap music at this point is an easy gateway into the satanic symbolism. When these artist do it they automatically have the audience conditioned with the it's the "Rock out"

I downloaded a prequel to Kanye's new cd yesterday. He's dead serious, santanism runs through the songs like a theme. There's chants, horror movie music, creepy backwards verses, the whole nine.  "Devil In The New Dress" was so blasphemous I popped the cd out and snapped it in two. I'm not going to hell with Kanye.

Wal-Mart isn’t feeling Kanye West’s “Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.” Kanye took to Twitter to let his fans know that his album was banned by Walmart:

“Yoooo they banned my album cover!!!!! Ima tweet in a few…,”

West tweeted:

“Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!,”

“In the 70s album covers had actual nudity…It’s so funny that people forget that…Everything has been so commercialized now,” West went on to say. “I know that cover just blew yall minds…I wish yall could see how hard I’m smiling right now!!!”

“In all honesty…I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers #kanyeshrug!”, the loquacious Grammy-winner ranted on. “I wanna sell albums but not at the expense of my true creativity.”

What do you think about Kanye’s album cover?

ILLUMINATI Lyrics Deconstructed
by Wise Intelligent

http://soundcloud.com/wiseintelligent/wise-intelligent-illuminati

While I'm aware of the many informative literary works being published by some great men and giants in our community on the subject of Hip Hop and the Illuminati – this song, its lyrics, nor this blog are intended to prove or disprove any of what has been written, published and or lectured about concerning this subject. Rather, to interpret the lyrics to my work and direct our attention to the root cause(ers) of current world dilemmas. Below are the lyrics and a verse by verse overview of the works aim.

VS 1
Lucifer Son of the morning, shalom, good day good morning
All of the livin are mourning, he affixes sixes on them…
But didn’t the scripture warn them? delivered the revelations?
Still they debatin Satan's use of major corporations

I didn't intend on putting a song that addressed the subject of the Illuminati on this latest album. However, the producer Masada submitted the track right when we had just wrapped up the record. I mean we were about to master the project. I heard the track, and completed the song the day I heard it. I laid it and we mixed it. As, anyone familiar with Poor Righteous Teachers should know, the group’s 1996 album was called “The New World Order” and the inside cover album art displayed several books pertaining to the Illuminati and the lore surrounding it. The intent of this recording was to simply take the Illuminati out of the “boogieman” realm and demonstrate how its apparatus functions in our daily lives in plain view. I often say that the illuminati, like the freemasons ARE NOT necessarily “secret societies” rather they are a society of secrets.

Remember the plantation, remember the black enslavement
Remember the soul debasin, globe defacin, hidden persuaders
Remember your colonization, colonial education
Ignorance and ****** sh*t, we get from the radio station

The rhyme points out well known historical events that effected and in many ways changed the world – like the enslavement of Africans and the colonization of the continent. The point being that the illuminati represents the wealthy globe holders who were and still are responsible for initiating and financing some of history’s most notable experiences. The rhyme goes on to express how mainstream media is very well managed and controlled with the function of controlling public opinion and mobilizing the poor and laboring masses to behave as the wealthy – less than one percent of the populace – would have them do.

Performers are getting younger, the dresses are getting shorter
It’s funny how these pedophiles market your sons and daughters
Target and breech your borders, kidnap your seeds deport them
Transport them over overseas where devils fiend auction and bought them

The above four measures of the song deal with the international trafficking of children as sex slaves to the wealthy and in many cases involving United Nations soldiers, as well as politicians from all over the world. A couple of years ago we learned that a United Nations ship was used to transport young girls from India to islands where they were then sold as prostitutes. These are not isolated instances of child kidnapping and abuse. This happens by design and is linked to major politicians, kings and sultans. Remember the Lincoln, NE. child prostitution ring that was traced all the way to the Reagan/Bush White House?

In ayiti someone caught them, if these are the seeds we lost them
Tossed them to hell they fell for what his system taught them
Gimmie a minute to prove this, call it conspiracy theory
You never knew what the truth is, be sure that my enemy hear me

VS 2
All of this talk about Jay Z, being illuminati
Or whether they got to Kanye, or whether or not they both gay?
This is irrelevant subtext call it celebrity gossip
Your taking it out of the context of Lucifer's pertinent subjects

The point here is to say that if our focus is on Jay Z and Kanye West as Illuminati we do not understand and have missed the most fundamental function of the machine – world domination. The capping stone on the pyramid on the back of the dollar bill was set in place nearly one hundred years ago in 1913 with the establishing of the Federal Reserve Bank, thus centralizing the country’s economy. These corporation founders/owners enslaved Africans, killed off Native Americans, bankrolled pirate ships, insured slave ships, created eugenics programs, designed, staged marketed and promoted World War’s I, II, and the Vietnam War before Kool Herc “said it was Hip and we started to Hop.”

What is the criteria for a rapper being Illuminati? He sold a lot of records? P.E. did that! So did the Fugees and Lauryn Hill and Tribe Called Quest and Arrested Development? What would be the rappers purpose as a card-carrying member of the Illuminati – to mislead his fans? If so, we can include every well intended grammar school teacher, pastor, minster, etc. for disseminating misleading information to their students daily to make their daily bread – some unaware and some well aware. Can’t be the subject matter of the records or we would have to include rappers like Kool G. Rap, Too Short, Ice Cube, NWA, Tupac, Biggie, and a plethora of others – who in my humble opinion are simply poor kids from some ghetto attempting to play the best hand of spades they can with the cards they were dealt! How they interpret the struggle in which they’re embedded notwithstanding.

We live in the projects, we descend from slaves
A lot of us don’t even got sh*t, and do anything to get paid…
Who Jigga that ***** ain’t Satan, and West just hood at best
And If they homo, I do not know and I could care less

Nahh they ain’t the Bilderbergers, nahh they ain’t the Rothschild’s?
That’s right they da Rockefeller’s, nahh that’s just dem *****s style
Illuminati sellin your mind soul and body
and they ain’t ever need no rappers to accomplish that

Rappers, be they mainstream, underground, “conscious” or gangster, are not responsible for engineering much other than music. However, the wealthy members of this body we call the Illuminati are publically known to the world as “social engineers.” They have masked their dirty doings in the vision impairing art of philanthropy. They are the subjects of Proverbs 17:23 which says “A wicked [man] taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.” Again, the rapper by my assessment is at best, guilty of accepting the gift of misfortune and fame to not use his platform to confront this beast – at least sometimes.

rhythm I ride on top of that, given you the truth so copy that
soon the e-conomy collapse, great tribulation after that
skull and cross bone pirate hats, British west indies company cats
we call that Steve Cokely raps, illuminati coming but I’ll be back

Jay Z, West nor any other rapper will be responsible for the collapsing of America’s economy or any other economy in the world. These grapes of wrath had been sown before Hip Hop was pushed out of the womb of black music’s blues.

VS 3
Before they collapse the market, they’re criminalizing farming
they're silencing you for talking, while turnin us all into peasants
Agricultural patents ConAgra created the famines
Monsanto’s seeds that terminate the natural birthing action

The above four measures are intended to address the Orwellian type reality in which we now find ourselves. Wherein, scientists of all fields are being bankrolled by major corporations, philanthropic foundations, and so-called “social engineers” like the real Rockefellers to use their talents NOT to sustain and preserve human life. Rather to reduce it via manmade famine, weapons of mass destruction, global sterilization initiatives, etc.

Controlling the food supply, choosing who should live or die
Confusion rules you choose the lie, illusion illuminates your mind
These are the last times, spend them getting organized
Victory be with the strongest tribe, the ones that forge the tightest ties

The light is ours, they’re the sons of darkness in disguise
Edom’s fall is Jacob’s rise, so the prophets prophesized
Cecil Rhodes mining more than just De-beers
We’re rewinding through the years but you would rather drink da beers

John Cecil Rhodes in his Confessions of Faith laid out his life, and after death, mission and goal when he said why not have a secret society with one purpose but to see that his race rules forever. He discussed taking over Africa, enslaving and exterminating the population on the continent (what part of that has not been done or isn’t progress? And how much of it was done by or because of rappers?). He spoke of Africa without Africans, meaning more land to produce more of what he called the most superior race – the Anglo-Saxon.

While your peers disappear, off the corner every year
Prison population risin’ abortion clinics everywhere
Truth is they don’t want us here, there’s no cotton left to pick
Physical labor is redundant, secret shifts in politics

In the event, Jay Z, Kanye West, the “Illuminati Princess” – Rihanna (LOL), or any other financially well-to-do rapper, athlete, talk show host (Oprah included) is caught going across the border with kilo’s of illegal drugs, weapons, or underage children smuggled out of some Third World country their asses are going directly to jail and will not be collecting $200 for passing go! They do not control, have membership in, or find favor from this monopolizing oligarchy. They are used by it at best!!!

Listen, rappers who promote and or perpetuate racist and or offensive stereotypes should be held responsible. However, they are not on the same level as the people and the system that funds apartheid schooling, controls, regulates, and collapses economies, concentrates poverty into hyper-segregated ghettoes, discriminates against black farmers, starts eugenics programs, denies you and destroys the health care system, lies to start wars, let us drown in Katrina, started blockbusting, redlining, and white flight, closes down libraries (in urban areas), stopped after school programs, environmental racism: high levels of manganese and lead in predominantly black communities, monopolizes the media, started global warming, imports and exports drugs, imports and exports children in sex rings, maintains Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib, funds the prison industrial complex, let pedophiles priests run rampant in and out of the Vatican, and uses the IMF and World Bank to destroy and destabilize countries thru debt manipulation. Rappers, are for the most part symptoms of the aforementioned problems and by no means represent the causative factors in this reality.

Jay Z might have been on and owned Rocafella records but he didn't write and enforce the racist Rockefeller Drug Laws. It's time to take our focus off the puppets and redirect it onto the puppet masters. This approach will serve us well in our effort to raise the people’s awareness of this system of oppression that is so subtle it provokes neither rebellion or escape. Then maybe, some upcoming rappers of tomorrow will be able to see the big picture that many of their peers fail to see (and some pretend not to see) for poverty and want of all things.

Then maybe, some upcoming rappers of tomorrow will be able to see the big picture that many of their peers fail to see (and some pretend not to see) for poverty and want of all things.

that's not me, that's Wise Intelligent's breakdown of his song Illuminati. It's not rocket science, I would suggest coming back to the post sober, it's pretty self explanatory

No bruh, I'm stone cold and still don't get it.   ::)

All I see is an overly long, pretentious dissertation and if it's nominal intent was to "deconstruct" it failed miserably because all it did was complicate the issue with unnecessary rhetoric.

Also, I disagree with it's salient point that the Illuminati are responsible for the trials and travails of our people. I give the white devil his due for his part in our destruction, but the overwhelming problems in Black Amerikkka stem from divisiveness within.
