Black Panther / Re: Guess the Poster or Poser

Why all this? Why take Storm away from a place where she led her own team(s), and on more than one occasion, the whole X-Family and dump her in a setup that despite repeated decades spanning efforts has remained (and will remain) a niche corner of the MU?

Simple answer.  Storm could do more for her people with BP than she can with the X-Men!  I'm guessing just because she's married to BP, she's now been barred from ever becoming an X-Man again?  Like mutants such as Wolverine and Gambit, have never left the team do their own thing!  Be serious.

ya know.  I don't get how it's OK for writers to deal with race in older BP books, but now now!  It just doesn't make any sense!  When I pick up a book called Black Panther, I'm expecting it to deal with afro-centric issues and race/racism!  Hudlin's not pushing an agenda, but rather writing things from the viewpoint of an african king!

^Jeez Christ.  If I had listened to those guys on CBR and newsarama, I'd think that this relationship was a rush job to marry two characters because they were black.  How come those dudes can tell you everything about anything about comics, but can't tell you that Storm and Black Panther actually did have feelings for each other and actually had a history!  And you're right.  It took longer for Storm to say yes to BP than it did to Prof. X.  Meaning, it was quicker for Storm to leave everything she's ever known than it was for her to marry the king of Wakanda of whom she had feelings for.

But those dudes can't wait for Storm and BP to break up for no reason!  Funny how most don't even like Storm nor BP.  Have them tell it, they are Priest BP fans(highly unlikely) that just don't like Hudlin!

Annnnnd they're off! Look at 'em wank, everybody!!!

I hate how everyone keeps regurgating the whole, ''Hudlin said people who don't like mah book are racist'' bile.  Hudlin never said it.  Don't you find it amazing that no one can ever find proof of this?  Like how no one could find proof that Tommy Hilfiger said racist things on Oprah or Lauryn Hill saying racist things on MTV?  It just simply isn't true.  I also like how people think that because you support Hudlin, you're either racist or actually Hudlin himself.  Some more bull for everyone's plate.  Even if people hate the book because it's bad, doesn't mean that other people don't like it.  Myself for instance.  I like the new Blue Beetle series, but I know that alot of people online despise it.  Do I care?  No.

I'm guessing some white writer's going to come in and have them split up for some contrived reason!  Probably have Storm go back to being X-Men's fodder and Black Panther running through forrests like a friggin' savage!  I'm playing(or maybe I'm not...)

I don't get why BP and Storm can't be a Reed and Sue couple and stay together forever.  Storm is not a damn supporting character.  She's a queen now.  She can now do more for her people than she could with the X-Men.  Prof. Xavier said this his damn self.

Mad props to Sinjection from me as well.  He pretty much put those CBR dudes in thier place!

So according to the wonderful posters at CBR, Sinjection's racist because he wants to see black-on-black and hispanic-on-hispanic love?  What the hell type of reasoning is this?  I have to get it straight for a minute.  Every minority has to be subjected to an interracial relationship or else it's racist?  And these are the same cats that get pissed whenever anyone, white or black, wants to see more minority characters?  Same cats that get pissed when the white Blue Beetle gets replaced by a hispanic Blue Beetle?  Same cats that get pissed that the Ultimate Luke Cage is black?  It's OK that the majority of minority superheroes are in interracial relationships but it's not ok to want to see two black or two hispanic characters in love?  Everytime someone wants to see more black characters starring in lead roles in comic books, the white dudes over there always want to bring up percentages.  Never mind the fact that there's more black people worldwide and black superheroes in comics worldwide, Marvel or DC, make up less than 1 percent, COMBINED!  Blacks make up 13 percent of America alone, stupid!  The numbers don't add up.  But Sinjection's racist because he doesn't want a minority character linked up to a friggin wilderbeast.  How stupid was that argument, right?  I know I'm venting but I have alot of things I wanted to get out.

Again, props to sinjection and anyone else who can think on their own two and is not brainwashed by a few dudes on the web!
