Black Panther / Re: Return to Wakanda?
« on: September 27, 2011, 09:07:26 am »
I haven't seen this anywhere else so I don't know how credible it is but...

So why would Black Panther spend his time in New York, instead of his homeland, when it so clearly needs him?
Now we may finally have an answer: it's because apparently Jonathan Hickman had first-dibs on the story. The return of Wakanda is going to happen in FF after the current 'War of Four Cities' mini-event finishes, with Black Panther making his much-vaunted first appearance as a part of the FF team. We should first see She-Hulk joining the team for a little while, before Reed then recruits his long-term friend T'Challa to the maths party.

Thank you so much for the information. If this happens I will be looking forward to see it.

Black Panther / Return to Wakanda?

I wonder if this new writer will ever have T'Challa return to Wakanda to even see how his people are doing?.On another note, does T'Challa know that his wife is in danger like the rest of the other remaining mutants left.We know that he is alone but does he even think about her.

I would like to see how T'Challa and Ororo would handle becoming parents.Would they return to Wakanda since their child might be a mutant and things aren't looking to good for the mutant population right now.

Just read that another comic marriage is being erased.I don't read The Flash but Barry Allen and his marriage will never have happened and he's dating someone else.

With the new changes in DC in which Superman and Lois aren't married and the Spiderman/Mary Jane marriage erased. It seems that comic book marriages are the first things some writers like to get rid of.Is it easier for the writers just to write the big battles, the sleazy hookups and the lone wolf parts of superheroes than relationships between husband and wife.I really miss Ororo and T'Challa being together, and although he is out to prove himself,I hate the fact that they are far apart.Ororo probably misses her husband but all we read is about Emma and her catty remarks towards Storm and her marriage.

It seems like it's becoming more about Chloe and Clark is just a backdrop for her drama.I miss Martha too,it would have been great to see her and Clark together as a family again.

Question:What happened to Clark's good buddy Pete,he could really use a friend right now.Chloe is fine, but I miss the Pete/Clark friendship.Clark sounded cold at the end of the season and I wonder what or who will bring him back.

I was looking forward to seeing what was going to happen in this second series until, they played the Emma/Scott redux with Oli and Megan. Now it's going to be all about them and everyone else is going to be background filler just like the other books.I hope that some more of Rebecca's background will be explored, but when the name Frost comes up we can just forget about it.

That my be where Storm comes into play.

That's true but will that undermine Shuri and the confidence that she needs to have in herself as well as the confidence that the people need to have in her?

I also wonder who will watch over Storm's body while her spirit is in limbo.  Will the Queen Mother stay with her?  I hope so because that sorcerer seems a little sleazy to me.  I'm just saying.  I doubt he's seen a beautiful woman in a LOOONG time.  Who in the hell would visit him in that death of a cave he calls a home. :)

He did have that sleazy look about him especially when Ororo was removing her robe.He may want her to fail to get T'Challa back so he can gain something out of it.I loved how determined Storm is to get her husband and that T'Challa is finally snapping out of his daze, and I hope that he will fight just as hard to return to his wife as she definitely will, but I figure that it won't be easy for both of them.Great job,a month is soooo long to wait for the next chapter.

Great story all around.I loved Storm performing her royal duties and really caring about the people.T'Challa  is sticking to his principles and refuses Namor's offer. It would  have been easy for someone else to join the Ill-luminati after the Skrull invasion to get payback but T'Challa didn't hesitate and flat out refused. He now knows who's in the group including Emma Frost who may have bitten off more than she can handle.Since Storm has been with the Xmen lately she may be in danger if the person who tried to kill BP thinks she may know something.

The Queen Mother is one tough lady and I hope to see more interaction between her and Storm during this trying time for all of them. Can't wait for the next part 8)

Black Panther / Monica Lynne

Could someone explain the relationship between Monica Lynne and T'Challa. We're they engaged at one point to be married and if so how did they break the engagement.I know that some of the Wakandans don't accept Ororo as T'Challa's bride, but how did they feel about Monica.(The king made the best choice)

I am sick and tired of the endless Summers and Wolverine offspring popping up everywhere.T'Challa and Ororo's child or children would connect them not only to the X-universe but the Marvel universe as well.Wonder if Ororo's evil uncle would try to kidnap the child for revenge and if the mutant baddies try to go for the baby as well, there would be a smackdown in Wakanda.

I wonder if in the new relaunch will a new panther cub or cubs be part of the storyline. It would be great to see how the royal family welcomes in the newest member of the family and how the people would react .

I love the relationship between Ororo and Nehnzo, mentor and teacher, friends and possibly mother and son.Does anyone know how old he is and if T'Challa and Ororo wanted to adopt him would his mother object to it?

Black Panther / Re: Storm's New Mini-Series: "Storm - Worlds Apart"
« on: October 17, 2008, 11:58:15 am »
I have a question, why does the Shadow King want Storm so badly
and how are they connected.I don't believe that T'challa would even think these things about his wife,it's just the Shadow playing on her doubts trying to break her,but I think she will fight tooth and nail to save her husband.I hope that Nehnzo will continue to be a part of the story even after the mini-series is over.Storm may become his mentor and maybe he'll be a part of the royal court as well.

There is definitely a plan going on here.Storm could have sent down a bolt of lightning or a huge gust of wind to get away from her captor, but I think the King & Queen had planned for something like this in advance.Lose a small battle, but win the big war
