The line is "The Hand of Bast was BUILT to kill the Phoenix."

Can it actually do the job?

It's an energy construct of immense power, tapping into multiple forms of cosmic and muoltdimentional energy at once. It would definitely have killed Knull's dragon, regardless of T'Challa's actions but the Phoenix is the Phoenix. That fight would be a toss-up.

Redjack commented on the cbr. Saying that in the preview they just started engaging the enemy and didn't know what the were up against.. I also think he did it to showcase that WHY T'Challa is their leader, he is THE guy

I read the explanation. It made it worse. Lol. So all the equipment is in the field because the shield is being threatened.

If I'm in the group being sent to investigate, I'd start with the sheath deployed. It'd have been better to say it was a standard patrol compsed of air and ground troops that got ambushed and the shield wasn't deployed yet.

Because before this scene, Knull has already surrounded the planet with symbiote.

well, i guess you'll have to read the whole story.

it's not like I'm going to spoil it just to explain four pages.

Only comic I know him for is Mosaic, which was good, but also came with a family dynamic that is the polar opposite to someone like Saladins' Miles solo which I enjoy. So I'm still on the wait and see side.

None of the upcoming comics are written the way I wrote MOSAIC. I try never to duplicate.

VIXEN. PANTHER. JOHN STEWART and the PLANET OF SYMBIOTES #2 story (can't say what that is because it's so short, any hint would be a massive spoiler) are all coming in January and February and none of them are written the same way.

I think you guys will be pleased.

I am.

here are some pages from the FUTURE STATE story, in case you missed DC's leak.

Yeah. That's John Stewart.

I'm not fooling around with this. Nor are any of the art teams.

I really think you'll all be pleased with all of it.

Thanks, very much, Mr. President.

here's an update.

I've decided, while a lot of this stuff is still technically for sale, I'm going to drop the whole existing catalog for free at WEBTOONS.COM.

That means folks here can just go check out the chocolatey goodness, right now, with a few clicks.

https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/sist3rs/list?title_no=392323 SIST3RS

https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/shadow-of-the-cat/list?title_no=366380 SHADOW OF THE CAT

https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/battlebook-vol1/list?title_no=403646 BATTLE BOOK VOL. 1

https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/winterman-comics/list?title_no=403233 WINTERMAN COMICS ANTHO vol1. (A version of this story was posted years ago on HEF. this version is way bigger and, hopefully, has better illustrations.)

At least one title will be updated Wednesday and Sunday for the next few weeks.

Other Comics / THE WINTERMAN PROJECT
« on: March 16, 2020, 06:41:32 pm »
So, all of last year and ongoing into this one, I've been experimenting with making my own comics.

By "my" I mean, some are done, top-to-bottom, by me and others are only written and edited by me with multiple other players on the board.

I talked a lot about it on my own site and always felt s little nervous about doing it here for a lot of good reasons, mostly having to do with the fact that this is Reggie's spot. But this section is devoted to that sort of thing and the thing isn't new anymore so, here's some stuff.

The first volley was WINTERMAN COMICS, something I did myself as an ongoing digital anthology series (stalled s bit because of lots of other work but ongoing).

After that, I launched the BATTLE BOOKS, a sort of THUNDERDOME series where three stories competed to see which would get to live. REDJACK won (No cheating, I swear).

and I'm running two webcomics at webtoons.com to get things ready for the Winterverse to drop.got a lot more coming this year. REDJACK and at least two secret projects.

Love to have you come by.
