I realize I'm a lil late but today I finally got my copy of "The Client" and I must say I'm impressed. I would have been impressed alot more if the comic was about, ya know, The Black Panther. Wow, y'all weren't kidding when you said it was all Ross, not that it wasn't well done, but come on now.
But from the first arc, so far Priest's Panther is all THAT different from Hudlin's Panther, Hudlin just gives us things from T'Challa's perspective rather than the outside view of Ross. One thing I give Priest over Hud is his building of the character and the unpredictability of the direction of the comic. Priest kept me going the whole entire comic. Reggie is more like a promoter, puting Panther in the spotlight, making big things happen around him which is awesome, but I see what people were talking about when they praised Reggie's improvement in the last few issues actually dealing with difficult problems instead of just making it look easy.
I look forward to Enemy of the State
