Black Panther / Problem with BP SPOILERS
« on: April 30, 2018, 09:37:38 am »
Dont you guys think that the movie was unfair for Killmonger? T'Challa, in the final fight, was powered by the herb. Also, he got additional time and strategic help from Shuri.

I mean, it was not a legit victory for T'Challa.

Black Panther / A huge problem with BP
« on: April 27, 2018, 11:29:01 pm »
Something started to bother me with Hickman's New Avengers (the incursions). I read it like 2 times and never saw it until now.

Why is T'Challa dealing with the incursions in the first place? I mean, he is not the King of Wakanda at that time. Shuri should know about that. Is not T'Challa's job. Is not his job to decide blowing another earth for the sake of Wakanda. The one in the reunion (New Avengers #18 with the death Black Panthers) should be Shuri. I dont have problems when he is the king, but he wasn't king of Wakanda at that time.

What do you guys think about this? Being king of the dead doesnt give him that authority, I dont know. Is there something Im not taking into consideration?

Black Panther / Black Panther Songs
« on: April 25, 2018, 09:29:44 pm »
Do you guys have a any song that you can associate with T'Challa or Black Panther? Not movie soundtracks. Take these two, for example. I listen them and I just think on T'Challa. I want to know if there is any other song with good lyrics that can be used as songs for the character.

Shaka Zulu Theme (We are growing by Singana)

''Be a man of greatness now
A man so tall, a man so kind
Be a man of wisdome now
A man of mind, a man of blind

Be a man of kindness now
A man so big and strong in mind
Be a man so humble now
A man of man, now let it shine

This is what you are
This is how it was planned now
This is what to be
Every kind of man now''

Born for this by Royal Deluxe.

''I've been tried, and you know I've been tested
But I won't back down, no I'll never surrender
I've seen the proof, I know the truth
This is what I was made to do

I was born for this
I was born for this

I get hit, and I might start bleeding
But I'm not on the floor staring at the ceiling
I'll give you something to believe in
About to show you now that it's more than just a feeling

I was born for this
Baby I was born for this

Never met a match I couldn't handle
No one else could ever hold a candle''

Black Panther / Black Panther essential characteristics
« on: February 07, 2018, 05:59:54 pm »
Hi there, long time ago I found this old thread:, but it didnt got enough attention. I want to request the help of you, hardcore Black Panther fan, with this personality profile im trying to complete.

What are BP's essential characteristics? But related to likes, dislikes, fears, virtues and flaws? This is all I got from my personal reading, but I refuse to think it is everything. What I can add about the character?
- Science.
- Technology.

- Magic. He considers it unreliable and unpredictable, but doesn't have problems to use it as a last resort.
- People trying to underestimate Wakanda.

- Not leaving up to his father's legacy.
- Failing in the protection of Wakanda.

- Born leader.
- Noble heart.
- Disciplined.
- Wise. He rejected being part of the Illuminati, because they were trying to work in secret and that wouldnt work. Namor agreed with him when they tried to shut hulk into space.
- Patience. He knows what can wait and what can't wait, specially for the greater good. His priorities and desires may change or wait, but he will complete them.
-Relentless. He never quits. Never stops.

- Secretive. Allies and enemies get to know the information when he thinks they need to know it.
- Distrustful.
- His hero side sometimes play a big part in his decision making, even when his people is in danger.

Panther Politics / Crime in Wakanda
« on: February 06, 2018, 12:03:31 pm »
Is there crime in Wakanda? How do you think they solve those problems?

I mean, they use some kind of execution system against those horrible crimes that deserve it? Like a third degree murder or whatever.

Black Panther / Black Panther vs Iron Man
« on: November 06, 2016, 11:05:53 am »
First of all, I'm sorry for all my questions. I only joined here to understand more and find information about T'Challa and the Black Panther comic in general. Id like to use him in fanfic forum. I see that here theres a lot of people who knows many things about Black Panther, I had to ask.

Like I said in the Batman vs Black Panther thread that is active right now, I didnt fully understand about his fight against that stealth armor of Iron Man. Thanks to the user Ezyo (I hope you read this) who helped me to understand a bit more. I think he pointed me this conversation:

Everybody is talking about how T'Challa defeated the most advanced armor of Iron Man, but that was not our T'Challa. Was the old one. He said that T'Challa already had the plan. So my question is:

- So T'Challa was willing to kill Tony? He wanted the Ultronic Code (or whatever is called) from Stark's vault. What if he ended killing the right Tony?.
- Basically the young T'Challa planned and Happy Pants just executed the plan?

Tony said: 'You stopped my heart, T'Challa'. But actually, was happy pants who actually did it. Not the young one. And stark was talking to him.

Black Panther / T'Challa and Wolverine
« on: November 02, 2016, 03:03:27 pm »
Anyone knows about what does T'Challa has against Wolverine? He, in private and not directly, is calling him a troll. Why?

I posted some images in the spoiler and I want to know what you guys think about T'Challa asking Ororo to not date Wolverine (this happened after AxV, when T'Challa breaks with Ororo). You guys think that was In Character? If you break with someone, you are no one to control that persons relations. I want to know why does T'Challa dislike Wolverine.

Black Panther / Contradiction or misunderstanding?
« on: August 26, 2016, 06:44:14 pm »
Canon: The heart shaped herb works like a poison for those who are not from royal blood.
Canon: Everyone gets a chance to fight the Black Panther one a year. If they defeat him and pass some test, they become Black Panther.

Then what happens when someone doesnt have royal blood? Like Zuri, for example. They cant eat the heart shaped herb even if they completed the test?
I didnt understand that.

Black Panther / Location of Wakanda
« on: July 01, 2016, 11:57:50 pm »
In the comics, you can see battle cruisers near the Wakandan coast. Those cruisers are from the United States, and i think you can see them in Civil War or the Christopher priest run. Namor even flooded Wakanda, but how? He used that body of water between Azania and Canaan?

But according this image

Wakanda has no coast. Are those cruisers bordering Somalia or what?

If someone has an image that better describe the location of Wakanda, i would like to see it.

Black Panther / T'Challa's money
« on: June 10, 2016, 11:22:34 pm »
Hello people, sorry for all my questions. I just find this site with so many people that know about Black Panther and is great. I have the following question:

How is T'Challa the most richest hero? I know that he have Vibranium and also the king of Wakand, the most advanced nation on earth. So he own all the money in Wakanda and can use it on whatever he wants? Kings in real life arent that rich.

In conclusion, how he has more money than Batman? Being a King gives you money, but not that much.

Black Panther / Questions about T'Challa
« on: June 09, 2016, 08:18:44 pm »
Does he prefer science over magic?
Theres any scan about when he said anything about that?
Wakanda uses magic or is more technological?
