It looks more like "shuri" than current outfit

Less busy, return of short black hair!

The left hand corner looks 100% better. Like a mix of Stelfreeze look with Hudlin's era Shuri look with the headress. I would much rather see her that way then The ugly busy looking, Storm wanna be look she currently has.
But the other look might be "Too sexualized" for some...

If the altered version is what Shuri will wear from that book onward, then I hope that she'll wear the full Griot outfit for ceremonial purporses, just like T'Challa does when he wears a cape.

Also hope that Shuri keeps her dreads, but they revert back to her original hair color. They can say that due to her no longer being in the Djalia, her hair color eventually changed back to normal.

To be honest whole djalia thing is kinda meh but if she aleast changed to. More casual like the left corner it would be good enough for the time being. Then eventually getting away from Griot altogether Because it seriously is just one of those things Coates is adding to try and one up the mythos establishment, except it's not for the betterment of tchalla

Gotta disagree. Griot provides Shuri with her own identity and power set, something Shuri greatly needed. To get away from that altogether would be going backwards.

Coates' #1 problem is his portrayal of T'Challa. He (or the next writer) fixes that and things work out.

Easy solution, have her Become a apprentice of Zawari's, Griot has been messed up from the get go, just like the DM. Better to scrap the sh*tty ideas and try again

That doesn't solve the fundamental problem of the Coates run: T'Challa's portrayal. How will that be an improvement if T'Challa still isn't done well by Coates or the next writer? We'll be back to square one.

Griot isn't the problem. T'Challa's portrayal under Coates' pen is the problem. Removing Griot doesn't solve that problem and makes Shuri's development go backwards.
