Wow, having two black women at each other’s throats. Yep, we’ve officially reached Tyler Perry territory people.

Well, looks like the Inhumas might be getting a second chance.

I thought WK Forever X-Men was good.

Had a few characterisation issues, but other than that the story was fun.

Hopefully the weapon can be reused in at some point.

Nnedi strength is making cool weapons, but doesn't always follow through with them.

I liked how there was absolute zero shade throwing this time around. Hell Rogue even says that she's glad Storm and BP are back together. That line of dialogue really surprised me.

Another Xmen audition book?

Maybe he'll bring the Nakia and M'baku from that universe back with him.

So you mean to tell me there’s a chance I can see Queen Nakia in both movies and comics? Hell yeah boi!!!

Since Okoye is finally out of limbo it would be nice if MCU Nakia found a way into the comics. But then again, Coates.

I ask for more analysis. Is this story now officially a stand in for the crimes of America against the natives of its land?

If it is then I really don’t know how it’s supposed to work now. Because how the hell do a bunch of creatures living in Africa worship a god that’s Native American? And before anyone brings up the Egyptian pantheon please keep in mind that Egypt is in Africa so the Wakandans worshipping them makes sense. The originators worshipping someone that comes from another part of the damn planet doesn’t.

Well T’Challa kicked ass from start to finish, used his brains to finish off Klaw, and the Midnight Angels actually respect him now. Too bad the next issue is gonna be entirely dedicated to the mutant.

So how did Coates screw things up this time?

My god, is Cyborg actually wearing clothes? Is DC finally gonna do right by him for once? I'll be cautiously optimistic for this.

Nice to see Okoye. But Coates is ultimately gonna Coates.

Chokes hasn’t lost his toxic touch one bit I see. Oh well, at least I still have the last issue of Rise to enjoy.

Infinity War takes place 2 years after Civil War/Black Panther.

I figure T'Challa, M'Baku, Shuri, Bucky, etc are all well adjusted to the ramifications following the two post-credit scenes.  Only thing of interest will be if they address any lingering plotlines that come with jumping 2 years forward... i.e. where is W'Kabi and does Nakia have a baby bump yet  :P

Damn that would be amazing if lil T'wari or lil T'Chaka or lil Sh’ri or lil Azari or lil K’Shamba to show up in MCU..

I didn't list Faida & T’Charra because they might be worse of CJP additions..  And it hard to worse than random ass white brother & sidekick..But damnit he did smh
That would be pretty friggin amazing lol.

Also would make me feel old bc we wouldn't have gotten a chance to see young prime T'Challa much before he'd be moving on to older/family responsibilities T'Challa.. but the joy of being right about Queen Nakia,,,, and the ramifications of such a concept, would be like a fountain of youth to my soul

Now you got me here thinking about how good Storm kid tears taste.

Fittingly enough, Stormkid also got banned recently for saying racist sh*t on the Storm thread at CBR.

Guys I think I just thought of a way to bring MCU Nakia into the main universe. And it’s a lot easier than you think.

So you know MCU Nakia is based on Melekia right? So in the comics we can bring back Melekia and reveal that “Melekia” is actually a name she uses when she’s undercover while her real name is Nakia. If anybody asks about Malice than this Nakia will respond that her name is a common one.

And you remember that episode from Avengers Assemble about that crocodile amulet? Well that would be her main weapon along with her ring blades. The way it can work is that similar to how only Black Panther can consume the hsh, only people from the river tribe can wear the amulet without having to worry about its power overwhelming them. To top it all off, her new superhero name shall be ingwenya (Xhosa for crocodile).
