BAH... You don't need no stinking degrees all you need is a personal trainer certification and your life is all set!

With just one personal trainer certification you can live in the Los Angeles area and train celebrities while living in a home with a 30 something by 20 something size swimming pool with palm trees that you hand planted yourself!

Other perks include running into Academy Award nominees like Mr. Hudlin at the grocery store while they shoplifting even though they have a degree from esteemed institutions like Harvard of all places... Shame on you Reggie put those Honeynut Cheerios and Campbell Soup cans back in their proper aisles you are a black super hero represent properly! ;D

Of my five siblings I'm the only one without a degree living as close to my dreams as possible while they get set up for the winter hibernation back east... Except for my brother who lives out here at Warner/DC's expense!

Living La Vida Loca is all that matters in the long run don't let em phool ya!

Now for the kiddeez all they need is love and respect and a little academic push every now and then and Black Panther comics stashed in the duffle bag to remind them on a subatomic molecular level how BOSS they can be even if only on an imaginary level!

Malcolm X read (And wrote) the dictionary in prison and accomplished more than the very educated people he bodied in debates every time they brought their high end letters to the pulpit!

Look mom no degree...

Flex Hectic: "Dayum how you know that?"

Mind Reader: "Wait there's more... I see an A-list black super hero so BOSS like and doing it real big!"

Flex Hectic: "Oh snap that's my super hero... How do you know this?"

Mind Reader: "I see loads... No I see piles of cash... Pockets PHAT on swoll like whoa! Ballin' out wildly even!"

Flex Hectic: "YEP, you da man keep it coming!"

Mind Reader: "I see Haters... Haters galore just straight hating on you and that thang that you do!"

Flex Hectic: "You don't say..."

Mind Reader: "Uh Oh... Pimp hand strong... I see you layeth the smack down on cats frontin' on your style like what!"

Flex Hectic: "Thank you that will be all!"

Psychics... It's all a matter of perspective!

Let the record show that the mere mention of the name Flex proves that I may not officially be on IGNORE as otherwise previously stated... ;)

Now let me one up some people here...

I do not have a degree because I went to art school for a minute and although I am not at Master Artist Mshindo level yet I am becoming one the best Zbrush digital sculptors on this planet earth! (Church)

However, I did work with a program called It's Time For Kids that focused on kids inside of probation camps like the one based on the true story in the movie The Gridiron Gang starring The Rock (Did that camp three times BTW)!

And by comparison the gangs out here in Los Angeles are far more famous than the ones in other parts of the U.S. which means I could have been shanked by kids already tattoo teared eye up with street cred never in question but I held my own... I'll probably do prison ministry in the near future as I build my rep up a bit later!

AND... Since my son is an honor student of both African American and African descent I can claim to be an international educator by default! 8)

I can't wait for Reggie to recruit him for Harvard... (Sits by phone patiently) :)

SEE... Flex Hectic is all about the children!

Technology / Apple TV!
« on: October 01, 2013, 03:29:15 pm »
Who has that little black box plugged into their TV?

http://www.apple.com/appletv/

Of all the products that Apple has this one seems to be the one that is most neglected but has the greatest potential!

As tent pole movies dominate their selected time slots announced years in advance this little device could be the key to getting independent movies featured!

Internet access has changed the entertainment game forever and with a little ingenuity a small studio could use this as a backdoor way of getting viewers without the long lines of an opening weekend box office draw!

Apple is currently the largest company in the world (Exxon's days are numbered via Tesla Motors rise Lol) with the sales of iPhones, iPads, iPods and iMacs all with iTunes capabilities not to mention the recently over 50 billion downloads mark being reached by their app store makes their ready made fan base something to be reckoned with!

Apple TV can be that solution even for the black filmmaking market assuming that quality product is produced for that much neglected segment of entertainment revenue!

With minimal advertising many projects like Angry Birds through the handheld products has grown substantially but no one has as of yet to push the envelope in the area of cinema!

Apple TV also offers the ability to connect your iMac computer directly to your TV screen by mirroring which can also be done with your iPad, iPhone or iPad using the Remote app!

This comes in handy for demo reels of animation, movies or video games and multi-media power point presentations!

http://www.macworld.com/article/2014026/6-tips-for-getting-more-from-your-apple-tv.html

It's not that you cannot do this with other high tech gear it's just that syncing Apple products with other Apple products is so simple Stevie Wonder could do it making it more hassle free! Lmao

Every time I open my iMac Safari web browser it automatically goes to the Apple page (Except when I'm at Hudlin's site of course) 8) and most keynote addresses by Apple execs are of the new iPhone, iPad, iPod or iMac and hardly ever about Apple TV!

One day a major motion picture may open on Apple TV first... Is Apple missing the boat here or what?

Is there anyone here who goes to Gamestop?

http://www.gamestop.com

With a Gamestop PowerUp Rewards card you get a subscription to Gameinformer magazine which updates you on the latest releases and reviews!

http://www.gameinformer.com

Also... Anyone interested in making their own video games there is Unity game making software for free or upgrade to the Unity pro version for $75 a month or $1,500 outright!

http://unity3d.com

My household is an Xbox 360 one with an iPad option for my Angry Birds addiction according to my son... There is a small chance that both the new Playstation 4 and the Xbox One will be in the house if my son pulls straight A's according to our under the table double dealings!

For my character Flex Hectic I have been dabbling a bit with Unity to make an iPad video game which means a brotha has to learn code and digital physics!

I believe that as tablets get more and more advanced there will be a ton of money to be made in the handheld gaming industry... Did I mention Angry Birds?

http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2012/05/07/angry-birds-maker-posts-2011-revenue-of-106-3-million/?_r=0

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/angry-birds-publisher-rovio-doubles-432964

The new A7 chip for the new iPhone 5 is on the horizon which obviously will make it's way into the newer iPad just in time for my eventual release!

As I get better with Unity I'll try to make playable demos to get feedback on gameplay and fun factor!

I plan to go the Infinity Blade route as Unity can compete with the Unreal engine graphics without having to give up too much of your licensing rights with your game!

http://www.unrealengine.com

http://venturebeat.com/2013/09/10/epics-infinity-blade-has-made-more-than-60-million-in-revenue/

There are tutorials for Unity and other software available at Digital Tutors if you are feeling frisky...

http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/index.php

I am planning on a $3.99 price which is far less than the $59.99 price range for many console games... Soccer moms with disposal income I'm looking right at you and your budget Mrs. Ladies! ;D

General Discussion / Re: The Shark That Ate East Boogie!
« on: October 01, 2013, 12:06:38 pm »
Actually I used Finding Nemo and Shark's Tale as a reference along with National Geographics Shark Week!

I also used Google which has a lot of great pics of sharks breaching the water surface to pounce on seals and any youtube footage that I can find to see how sleek they move in the water!

This is just one of the models so some of them have jagged and broken teeth as I used the high definition button to texture them with!

The problem was the UV map for them was so small that they would disappear once imported into Lightwave so that was a chore getting them to show but I'm getting there!

The flesh inside the mouth once the jaws open wide will be the hard part because you can sometimes see the inside of the gills!

Oh wait... I think I see Reggie's arm holding an Academy Award trophy!!! ;)

Go do what to your mother? :o

As a TROLL myself even I have limits that I won't cross that's a bridge burning blessing blocking statement right there!

What kids do you help with that type of vulgarity in the trenches or anywhere else for that matter?

Thoughts...
