Did you know Ted also likes to spar MMA when he trains?

My MMA instructor Harold was his trainer and when he would go to Thailand for his month long vacations I got to train Ted three separate months!

He's got a nice push kick for an old dude and even with his bad hand he could strike quite well so I often got jobbed like Black Panther written by Roy Thomas... My excuse is you can't hit Daddy Warbucks too hard or you will never work in this town again so I gave him a pass! ;D

After that Comic-con where you gave me a shout out during the question and answer period about the "Black Comic Convention" he wanted to know who I was talking about... When Hudlin drops your name like that it's huge and I was still talking about to everybody and they momma! 8)

When I mentioned your name he said you just had lunch together and were working on some projects... I'm so tired of white guys who know more black guys than I do! Lol

I think Ted needs to be in on the black super hero movement as someone who has invested in black genres particularly rap music having signed Tupac among other things!

I was only the substitute trainer but you have more business history with him and could probably get more things done... This is one of the many reasons why I believe you should host the black comic book convention!

People like you man and except for the Black Panther Haters I rarely hear any negative things associated with your name in Tinseltown... But that has not stopped me from making up some rumors about you though! ;)

Reggie I remember when I was training your boy Ted Field as his substitute trainer for a month and he told me the synopsis of the new Riddick story with the agreement to keep my mouth shut about it... As if I would dare post that info on a forum or something! ;) :-X

You and Ted need to work something out for some black sci-fi projects he spoke very highly of you BTW... It's time for you to get your inner Spielberg on and Ted might be that dude!

Put that script for the prequel to Da Butler away and burn that backstory to Sounder and grab one of them Milestone characters and make that movie!

I think that as your star is rising with the Academy Award nomination and your tea and crumpets time with J.J. Abrams it's your time to shine!

Did I ever tell you about the time I wore a Black Panther t-shirt to train Ted just to get that controversial conversation going... Fanboy to the fullest Wakanda fool what!

Movies I would like to see...

The Black Panther

Hardware (Milestone)

Green Lantern (John Stewart)

It's time to go high end special effects with an epic story these other movies still are not coming with a black lead saving the day on a grander scale!

Soon they will be green lighting the prequel to The Color Purple... We always wanted to know the backstory to the main backstory! ;)

As far as black films go they are still playing it relatively safe with the comedies, the good ole days and borderline minstrel movies!

Serena is chasing history at this point to be compared to King, Navratilova, Graf and them!

Stephens is the new up and comer with lots of potential but other than being black her wins over Serena are no more significant than when some unknown knocks her out in a major slams early rounds!

When some girl with a name hard to pronounce like Hachakukinavitarova beats Serena it's like oh well there are only like 30 other tournaments to win that year so what!

Stephens is good but she has years worth of tournaments to win before she is on Serena's level... Also a few straight grand slams would have to be won where she dominates tennis to the point of hardly ever losing a set on the way to the championship round!

Serena has had moments of destroying and catching bodies even that of her own sister to prove her career!

BUT... If Stephens wants to chase Serena to eventually be that "IT" girl in tennis go for it!

In the meantime I'll be watching Da Bears roll right to the Super Bowl!!!

The problem is here is oh so many are starting to move to the digital format of reading material!

Essence needs to become something beyond just the magazine and more into a branding movement where it can be everywhere instead of just the magazine rack!

The name "Essence" should mean more than it does...

Since Maxine has me on I-G-N-O-R-E it is safe for me to say this without expecting a response...

You are an absolute QT Pie and I love your smile! :-*

Congrats on your higher education achievement and continue to be a strong beautiful black woman! ;D

Work on that temper though it takes away from your smarts and good looks! ;)

(As your internet boo I am a little bit upset at you not introducing me to the parents which may put a strain on our marriage but I forgive you though)

And Hudlin when you film them movies and TV shows just remember that I am available as a love scene stunt double... Just putting that out there in case you need me to take one for the team! 8)

I'm gonna go through the photo archives and choose some pics to post in here... Wifey has me on strict orders about what can be viewed and what can't so no snitching!

Ronald McDonald at the Golden Arches restaurant don't be caring who orders a number three special as long as he is caked up on that C.R.E.A.M. afterwards!

The Colonel at KFC has a three piece ready for you ere'day so bring dat money and get a biscuit, red beans and rice with your choice of soft drink... He'll let you fill it up yourself after handing you the cup across the counter as a show of trust whether you are black or white!

Stop eating at these old school Happy Days diners where The Fonz is still tripping off your skin color!

Kiss My Grits...

Two hours???

Red Lobster could have had you seated, eating them milky biscuits and out the door after some reasonably fresh fish catch of the day at market price in just shy of an hour!

Wild Wing???

Olive Garden Beyotches... Take your business up the road and you could have gotten some pasta and whatnot!

If Lex Luthor (A mere human villain) can on occasion get the better of Superman or at least make him look really really bad some days why not Bruce Wayne who is technically on the same level as Lex both financially and genius level?

At the end of the day the super hero usually wins out for the sake of truth and justice but Lex as a human has made Superman vulnerable to defeat and humiliation... So why not Batman who is also human like Lex?
