Maybe they should just let Claremont handle this.

Have they changed Mentor(or any of the other Eternals) in some major way? He(unlike his sons) is an Earthborn Eternal with the full powers and invulnerability of his brethren. The only way to kill him would be molecular disbursement. I don't think having someone, including Thanos, putting their fist through your chest counts.

If I remember correctly, he and his generation left earth, before the Eternals of Earth gained that level of invulnerablilty.

The Eternals Mentor found on Titan were part of that group who left. Mentor(called Alars) was on Earth when his father's experiment gave the Earth Eternals their new abilities.

Other Comics / Is it time for an African superhero to save the day?

The year is 2025, the prosperous Lagoon City has been overrun by alarming skeletal drones and corrupt politicians. It bares little resemblance to the hometown Wale Williams left five years before. But the young Nigerian has bigger problems -- his estranged but brilliant inventor father has disappeared. His pursuit of a parent will lead him to a nanosuit his father built, which provides him with superhuman abilities and a destiny to protect the city he loves.

"E.X.O: The Legend of Wale Williams" is the fast-paced, afro-futuristic graphic novel from Roye Okupe. A software and web developer by day and graphic designer by night, the passionate Nigerian has spent the last several years trying to bring his dream of a homegrown hero to life.

Suffice to say, there are both black and white, original characters from a turbulent period in American history, already offering, and promising to offer even more, provocative narrative which will undoubtedly tick off many.  Perhaps me too yet, I had to ask myself, if I had an original story to tell about white people interacting with blacks during a controversial period in history, would I accept the notion that I should not tell that story because I am not white?

“If there's a book that you want to read and it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.” –Nobel prize-winning author Toni Morrison

Tell YOUR story/stories. F#%k what anyone may say about them, if the story is true to YOU, that's all that matters.

Bro. Marvelous,
Some folk (not ME) are already complaining and condemning(evn the lettering) this book, based on just ONE issue:

On FB's Milestone page, one jackoff called me an "Uncle Tom" because I dared to have a different opinion of this book then most of the herd there. Can't wait until issue #2.

Thank you brutha Battle! I would leap at the chance. And I think that I would write an outstanding BP solo. And being a real life space science and physics geek, lifelong Montu practitioner [ Master rank in the Afrakan hybrid fighting system of my family ]  among other things? I think I can write some really sweet space sci fi dimension jumping fist swinging kick slinging bone breaking hi tech adventure, if I had a shot at a MARVEL TEAM.   Not that I'm biased er nuthin...HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Why don't you draft a treatment tonight and pitch to MARVEL first thing tomorrow morning?

Cuz those guys are insular and not forthcoming with the whole "look for pitches from some fool without comic book experience or hookups when he's dumb enough to write us a pitch that won't even get close enough to us for us to ignore it" approach.

Maybe I should Google how Marvel ignores...I mean sets up a procedure...for reviewing submissions from newbie wannabe talent.

Have you ever written a Comic series before? Indy, Small company, Self Published, Web series etc.?

Let me know if they ever hire someone who isn't White to write this stuff.

Since the time of great Melanoid boxers like Tom Molineaux  and Jack Johnson, the sport of boxing has always had a racial under current that attracts and intrigues fans.

In the time leading up to the record breaking Mayweather vs Pacquiao bout that took place in Las Vegas this weekend, many non-Melanoid boxing fans and media representatives were suspected of using code words and smoke screens to hide their racial hatred for Mayweather. Many people were bringing up issues about Mayweather that had nothing to do with the fight like his past domestic violence charges, that he has already served time for.

Many of these people tried to deny that there were racial undertones to their criticism. But after Mayweather won the fight with Pacquiao, many of these same sports fans stopped using code words and they took to twitter to express how they really felt about Mayweather and Black people in general:

Bro. Battle,
Can't do anything about your Cable issue, but I was testing out some new Photoshop brushes(still getting the hang of them, got a ways to go) and came up with this:

Best I can do for you, man. ;D

Yeah, it's apparent that he and baby Mama Josie Harris have a dysfunctional history (like Sugar Ray Leonard beating his wife's a$$ back in the day). I didn't bother to read the article, did it mention that in July 2005 after Harris testified that she had LIED and that Mayweather had not battered her? The 2 of them have problems, not my business, they chose, of their own free will, to deal with each other. I enjoy boxing, I don't judge the character of the athletes involved, your mileage may vary. Oh well, enjoy your weekend, I know I will.

Not going to be able to see the fight but I pray that Mayweather beats the living s____t outta Pacquiao this weekend.

Why? Seriously, I'm curious.

I don't care much about this fight in 2015 but I would like to see somebody kick Mayweather's woman-beating ass in or out of the ring.

The Boxer and the Batterer

Or the Batterer VS The Adulterer.

Neither one is an "Angel", I don't expect many folks who earn a living beating people up to be one either. Either way, I don't root AGAINST African American atheletes, the rest of the world does a fine enough job at that without me joining the chorus.

Thank you, kind sir. :)

That's just one part of the answer. The other part is that I don't have access to any cable channel carrying the fight.

No Sports Bar's in your area? I think certain movie theatre's are showing the fight, too.

But I have a daughter. So f*ck Mayweather.

I have TWO...and?

Won't happen in the ring but he deserves a beating and some jail time.

"Deserve's got nothin' to do with it." —Will Munny

As for the jail time, he's already served.
