Well said Supreme Illuminati, well said indeed. Eventually it will come down to us here at the HEF to create or introduce our own characters and craft some tales telling of their exploits and adventures. There is most certainly enough talent here to do such for sure. Maybe with much practice and consistency we may get noticed by someone with connects over at Milestone. Just saying.

This was an engaging self contained story with good character interaction and intention. It was a good idea to have T'Challa put Monica and Bashear to work and purpose them with a mission of space exploration on behalf of the Wakanda. The "Black" Marvels (Blue Marvel and the woman formerly known as Captain Marvel) should have been sent by T'Challa to help him with the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda if certain writer were inclined enough to see T'Challa truly lead. The epilogue was poignant and l like the use of various aliens and references. Shadow gates another great concept ripe with potential. CvilleWakandan , you along with Gesela and the  preeminent Supreme Illuminati help to enrich the Black Panther's universe much beyond the scope of what is given in the pages of the comic book and it is greatly appreciated.

Great cover.

Ridley's Black Panther is too pedestrian and it looks as if it might drown in the waters of mundanity. While Ridley was able to avert some of my concerns about his iteration of T'Challa and his world with the first issue he failed to do such with the second.

T'Challa "is able to find some solace as leader of the Avengers" as Wakanda is now a parliamentary democracy having little use for a king. Get real. Ridley remains infected with Coatesvid 16 and does his best to insure the reader of T'Challa's ineffectual rulership. There is no imagination involved in the creation of a new Wakandan government just the insertion of European political setup. All that's missing are the wigs.

This was way better.

This penchant for having the king's subordinates speak to him with such disrespect demonstrates the lack of understanding the writer has with regards to showing how T'Challa inspires his people. Observe the sleeper agent posing as a construction worker.

To add insult to injury no time was invested in showing a unique way that Wakandan sleeper agents would integrate themselves into strategic positions among governmental, corporate and technological entities. These agents fail miserably in convincing me they are capable of doing damage. If Ridley needs a lesson, I offer this.

And redraws the shape of the world. Now that's damage.

Again the Shuri get to show out in a manner that should be reserved for T'Challa. It is the Black Panther who should be doing the detective work while delegating the task of pulling out the sleeper agents to Akili. After all it makes sense, particularly as he is head of the Hatute Zeraze aka the Wakandan secret police.

Four pages wasted on domestic life in western context. Oh that's right they're sleeper agents they're supposed to blend in... with no imagination to creatively express such. Next we have this...

Is this the best weapon a Wakandan sleeper agent can get their hands on. Really?!?

Kimura's uniform is a little distracting. The brown patches make it look incomplete. She didn't fight very well either. Two issues and not one good showing for Wakanda's sleeper agents.

T'Challa arrived a bit late to prevent all that collateral damage to the house. I expect better from the Black Panther. Back to uniforms, what's with the taped patching on Omolola's right shoulder? Again I expect better from the Black Panther. Ok here is the big action fight scene.

Why is T'Challa talking so much during a fight?!?

Guess Ridley will explain how this happened later.

After this there are some pages of Shuri pretending to be a DHS agent and T'Challa playing chauffeur. We end with this.

Well there you have it.

I think the person behind this is Hunter. He makes the most sense. Hunter is bitter at being replaced by Akili and being the true patriot he is, demonstrates his loyalty to his king by showing how ineffective T'Challa's sleeper agents are. Add to this, the antagonists are dressed in white. Just saying. Maybe Hunter got initiated into an ancient Wakandan secret society or developed his own Hatute Zeraze. Anyway that's all I got from today issue of Black Panther.

See you next month as the Black Panther battles the X-Men. This issue will determine a lot for me.

Black Panther Gets an Iron Man Upgrade with New Fighting Armor Figure
by Tyler Roberts

Sentinel is back with another one of their Fighting Armor figures as Black Panther suits up and is ready for some action. The Fighting Armor figure line is a set of Marvel Comics heroes and villains with a new Stark Industries upgrade. Iron Man kicked off the line with others like Deadpool, Captain America, Wolverine, and much more suiting up with new Iron Man tech, King T'Challa is suiting up this time with a 6.5" tall figure that has a mixture of plastic and die-cast elements. Sentinel has included a nice set of swappable parts, a Wakanda Spear, and a figure stands with a posing rod to capture the king in action. The Fighting Armor Black Panther figure from Sentinel will be priced roughly at $100. The king is set to hit the battlefield in July 2022, and pre-orders are live, and he can be found right here.

"FIGHTING ARMOR Black Panther Ė "What ifÖ Tony Stark integrates each of the Avengers' super power into an armor?" The Black Panther suit redesigned in FIGHTING ARMOR style is added with cerulean blue parts on the chest and various parts of the body while the claws made of Wakanda's Vibranium are presented in metallic silver, bringing just the right embellishment to the Black Panther's black body. Newly developed parts are generously used and can be seen at one glance, including the head, the chest, lower arms, hand parts, lower legs as well as the kingly spear with a length much greater than the height of Black Panther."

This looks like another must have to add to the collection. On my display of course this will be an all Wakandan Design Group edition designed by T'Challa himself. Just saying.

Black Panther Art From Canceled Series Shows Fans What They Missed

Looks like we were fortunate enough to dodge that bullet.

Back to BP#2. The problem with the preview was it didn't hype me for the next issue and that's because they didn't hype T'Challa. I don't want to immerse myself in a mundane discussion that reads like a discourse between humdrum people "too preoccupied by prosaic day-to-day concerns" to even fake being Wakandan.

Write the Black Panther, Wakanda and his supporting characters as interesting Afrakan centered mystical sci-fi characters from a socially sophisticated, culturally mature, technologically advanced society, generations ahead of the rest of the world. That's not too much to ask for, is it?

REPORT: Black Panther 2 Gives Killmonger a New Role in the MCU
A new report suggests Michael B. Jordan will return as Killmonger in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with a new and more cooperative role.

Killmonger may have chosen death over bondage in Black Panther, but a new report suggests he will return in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with an entirely new role. According to a report by ScreenGeek, Killmonger will return for Wakanda Forever in the Ancestral Plane, serving as a mentor to a "young hero." Although the report does not explain who the young hero is, fans have created theories based on the location of Killmonger's reunion.

The Ancestral Plane is a different dimension, where souls are able to exist outside of their bodies after death in Wakandan folklore. In Black Panther, both T'Challa and Killmonger were able to visit their deceased fathers in the Ancestral Plane after eating the heart-shaped herb and being buried in ritualistic sand. As such, some fans believe he will likely make an appearance for one of his relatives and potentially a new Black Panther.

After the passing of Chadwick Boseman, Marvel Studios announced it will not recast T'Challa in the upcoming sequel. This has sparked rumors that the studio will find a new Black Panther, with many assuming the mantle will be passed on to his sister Shuri. Others believe it may be Nakia and Okoye.

Since Shuri is Killmonger's cousin, she could potentially see him in the Ancestral Plane if she actually partakes in the Black Panther ritual. Shuri also fits the description of a "young hero" who could potentially seek Killmonger's mentorship after seeing a divided Wakanda fight each other on how to position the nation amongst the rest of the world.

Although the report has yet to be confirmed by other outlets, it falls in line with other reports and rumors suggesting Michael B. Jordan will return to play Killmonger once again. In 2019, Angela Bassett spoke about Wakanda Forever at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and revealed that everyone would be back, with her husband Courtney B. Vance calling out Jordan. Bassett also noted that no one actually saw Killmonger go into the ocean.

Wakanda Forever started filming in June but went on hiatus in November due to an injury Letitia Wright sustained on the set. Production is expected to resume in January 2022 with Wright back on set. Directed and co-written by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is slated to release on Nov. 11, 2022.
