curious.  a face-saving measure for the justice department under Trump/Sessions?

What do they hope to find now?  isn't nearly everyone dead who was a person of interest?  The one white woman who lied on Till just "fessed up" last year.

So now what?
Glad they are doing this.  Stunned that they are doing this under this administration.  Isn't she still alive?  I bet others are too.  Throw they dusty asses in jail.  Let them die there.

Fun!  A friend said this one is pitched for a younger audience than the first one and they aren't wrong.  All the science stuff is pretty silly, but it doesn't matter.  They got the first superhero family in the movies now.  Pretty interesting.

I also wonder if Bill Foster has a son....I know what I would do with him.

I also want TI to get powers.  I guess that's on me.

Hudlins' Flags of our Fathers made Barnes and Nobles best TPB of 2018 list.
I am just finding this out.

Fun movie which (to me) confirms Justice Smith (from THE GET DOWN) as a talent to watch.  Nice set up for the next set of future sequels.

I guess it depends how you define "spiritual" but a powerful emotional and physical experience can put you in a "thank you God" mind state.

considering the 14 year gap, I hope if a sequel is made it can be fast tracked.

--- who was the gentleman from Pixar who is being let go?
My understanding was the gap was at writer/director Brad Bird's election while he pursued other, mainly live action, projects.

Jon Lassiter was the heads of Disney and Pixar who just left the company.

The whole family went, and there's was a lot of debate on whether it was as good or better.  Kids wanted to rewatch the original before making a judgement. But the favorite scene and character was unaimous.

I heard a bunch of those Nas tracks yesterday.  This might be my favorite album of the bunch.

Not sure if the last two even count in that category.

Cool, swap em out for Three the Hard Way and Bucktown.
Fair deal.

He's sticking to his schedule o far. I still haven't listened to Pusha T's "Daytona", Kanye's "Ye" or Kanye and Kid Cudi's "Kids See Ghosts" though fans are loving all three projects. They've made people forget or defend Kanye's problematic statements, but not me. I MAY check out the upcoming Kanye produced Nas album, I don't know yet.
There's so much music I"m still working my way through it.  The first song on the Kanye album is as shocking as it's meant to me. My kids loves several other tracks.  Lyrically it can be mundane, or simplistic, but Kanye's musical instincts always goes toward cinematic.

The first track on the Pusha T album is quite the banger as played out as the gangster/drug dealer world is, Pusha has a great voice and is quite the lyricist.

Still working my way through the Kids See Ghosts album.

I guess the Nas album is behind schedule and now Jay Z and Beyonce dropped a surprise collaboration album to accompany their joint tour.

All this plus Black Thoughts' EP all means lots of new music for the summer.

I'm giving the protesters TripleX's address as we speak!

lol I had to see it man. The original is one of my least favorite of the 70's Blaxploitation films but I love the genre and was curious about a contemporary take on it. I also wanted to know how Future would stack up against Curtis Mayfield, to no one's surprise the answer is not very well. Heard three Future songs on the radio yesterday, the fact that none of them came from the soundtrack when the movie was released this week is telling.
Superfly is one of your least favorite blaxploitation films?  Which are your favorites?
