Actually, Tony did call him War Machine.  I think it was when he confronted him at the party.  He said something like "So you wanna be a War Machine..."  Not quite what you were looking for, but it was in there.  ;D

Yeah I noticed that and that was the closest thing to a code name that any of them had.  Here's something, how is it that Rhodey can use the Iron Man armor as well as Tony if Tony's had all this time to practice and Rhodey just then put it on?

The armor didn't use a Windows OS.  ::)

Reggie. Iron Man 2 is a money maker. There will be an Iron Man 3. If you noticed in the story the director was setting up for Demon in the Bottle by planting the seeds for it. He's already gone on record on what he would like to do for a third Iron Man movie. The second movie also has Thor's hammer and talks of the Avengers with Captain America's shield in the movie.

I would die of shock if IM3 wasn't made.

I've always wanted to read a Tyroc adventure. I love his powers.

I remember actually being excited to see Tyroc in the Legion cartoon show a few years back. He was mostly in the back ground kicking ass, but his scenes were pretty damn awesome.

wow, you guys actually wanted more of Tyroc adventures. Even reading that it seemed wrong. I guess one can update that now but all the Black people on one island or 'little africa' whoa. Somebody needs to be beaten.

<<Doom,Galactus,The Deviants,The Eternals,The Inhumans,SHIELD,the Zombie virus, etc. have all sought advantages over WAKANDA and all have failed, all were foiled by Wakanda's 100% foolproof methods.>>

Umm when did the Wakandans ever repel Galactus or the Eternals? Or the Deviants?  I know BP has a plan to deal with Galactus, but doesn't mean it will work, so until the plan actually works, you can't call it "foolproof".

But your point about the Wakandans being overconfident is valid.

Foolproof plan?! Aren't we giving Wakandan's too much credit now?  They have a plan to divert a planet eater? And they actually succeeded?! Uh no. And if so .... WHEN!?

To me, everytime he has been written he is laser intense, except the one time he was sitting around with Ultimates discussing who would play them in movie.  Otherwise, all of it.  He is intense.

Well in all those other times, we've seen him actually DIRECT shield. Which he hasn't done in the Iron Man movies. He's showed up but so far all we've seen him do is interact with Tony. There's been no need for him to be laser intense with Tony. Perhaps his laid back attitude is him trying to get Tony to join the Avengers initiative. I think when we see some behind the scenes stuff or Tony actually starts working for Fury then we will see that laser intensity. But for right now, no reason for him to turn it on.

Examples?  "Laid back" means mellow, unhurried, let's things happen; doesn't initiate things etc. The laid back person doesn't try and control his circumstances.  Ult Fury is driven, always in control, always planning and always plotting.  His jokes are intellectual and cutting, not "I am keeping my eye on you".  Yes, he's calm, poised and always in control, but laid back people aren't Type A personalities.  Movie Fury didn't feel like a man in control. When sitting on the chairs at Tony's house, he looked like a man at a backyard BBQ, rather than the head of SHIELD discussing the future of the world.  He was too casual in his posture.  Or BW makes the assestment of Tony, and he goes along with it.  Ult Fury makes his own judgements and he isn't above getting in the middle of things.

I didn't want you to tell me the definition of 'Laid back' I wanted examples of how Ultimate Fury being laser intense. Movie Fury and Ultimate Fury seem like the same person to me. So to say one is Laser intense and one is laid back just doesn't do it for me. I need to know of pacific occassion where he was laser intense and how that differs from movie fury.

Those aren't examples those are breaking down the definition of what you mean by laser intense. Not really the same thing. Is it?

<<I like the laid back Ultimate Nick Fury.  >>

Ult Nick Fury isn't laid back.  He's laser intensity.  Mace Windum is much closer to Ult Fury than Movie Fury.

example? Please! :)

-Nick Fury: I didn't care for him all that much this time around. I can't put my finger on it, but he didn't feel like Nick Fury, like a high-ranking intelligence agent and isn't Ultimate Fury also a general? Perhaps he wasn't hard ass enough for my taste. I would've liked something more like Andre Braugher's general in Fantastic Four 2. Though on reflection, it was cool to see him and SJ together again. Brought back memories of the Spirit. It might be neat to do a SHIELD movie with him and SJ.

I think the Ulimate/Movie Nick Fury is marvel's biggest mistake. I like Mr. Jackson don't get me wrong but I think the Original Fury was soo much better.

I agreed, but Hudlin shouldn't act like he don't know the reason behind the boondock taking a long time to air. I love Aaron and Hudlin for being positive black men in Hollywood and making black projects that are rarey seen in certain mediums (like cartoons, comics, etc.).... hopefully in the future they can become friend again....

Exactly! I'm sorry Reggie but it just doesn't look good that you're acting kindof of smug about them not being on the air for so long? I think many of us would like to know why the falling out/ugliness between you two. But hey, if you don't want to say. It's none of our business. What Afro said is true. I love the work that you both produce. Maybe one day you both can be friends again but somebody's got to forgive first.

I thought it was vibranium.  That's the first thing that came to mind when I saw it.  Having Cap's shield "aiding" in creating it solidified it for me.

I hope it wasn't vibranium, that closes the door on a black panther movie if it is.

Terrance Howard and Don Cheadle could be interchangeable, in my opinion.

really!!??

Scarlett Johanssen's (sp?) Black Widow was great, I don't know how much of that was a stunt double and what was her, but she should definitely stick around for the Avengers movie.  Overall I'd have to give this one 4 out of 5 shell heads!

I really loved Johanssen in this movie. She was very sexy with that red hair and her acting was also superb.

according to an interview with regina king, it had more to do with sony, and the fact this is the only american cartoon they produce.

HA!

Hmmmm .....

guess it's time for the Boondocks to get it's 15 seconds of fame again huh ?
Then Adult Swim will push it beyond the back of the bus again when it's over....
Do you think is network is responsible for the two year gaps between episodes?

Don't tell me, I am only one that think it is odd for Mr. Hudlin to ask that question, when he is most likely reason to know the answer himself  ;)

I think Reggie, got a can of hater-aid on Boondocks and laid the smack down on McGrudder. Reggie won't you tell us something.  ::)

Mr. Cowan! :D

Your stuff looks very different from back-in-th'-day; has a very mature, relaxed, confident feel.  I can't wait to see how your work improves in the next few issues.

Bravo!

Where's room to improve? I'm telling people they need to pick this book up.
