Needless to say, watching "The Chi" has gotten awkward. Now I'm wondering how they're gonna write his character off and how they'll move forward without him.
Okay, you're speaking as someone who has some information from people who are close to this, and I think that's a different situation than our standard reaction to just assume the people accused of misconduct are automatically guilty of said misconduct. If this is true it is very unfortunate. He was rising. I liked his work in both Compton and Superfly.
Paramount Channel had a back to back showing of parts 1 and 2.. I happened to catch part 2 as it was beginning, then they showed part 1..
wow!!!
craziness, almost non-stop! the settings, battles, stunts, top notch.. The specific types of kills they depicted on-camera were outrageous, geez!
I especially liked in part 2 where the mobster's sister was killed at the concert, and the chase ensued on the grounds of, what, an abandoned castle/cathedral? All those tunnels..
Michael Nyquist, Willem Dafoe, Common, Adrianne Palicki, Lawrence Fishburne, just amazing.
The assassin culture they've depicted with the coins and the safe zones, astonishing, and leads to some absurd (and hilarious) confrontations..
