Peep this, for a cameo by Luke, way back in the days... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVdgmkc-xJA
Hopefully Marvel will make that variant Storm cover into a poster.
You know, I can also see Mr. Sinister causing some trouble. Maybe somehow he finds out about the special herb and is interested in T'Challa's blood line. Thus could lead to some interesting stories including him seeing just how powerful Storm is and also want to do his own experiments.
awesome... so we get six issues of Doomwar. Nice.
Weird...nobody's told me about it being a six-issue series. Not yet anyway.
Wow...lots of interesting suggestions. I've already pitched the next arc (following DoomWar) and depending on the feedback I get there may very well be some of these characters tied up in Wakanda's future.
There's been a quiet-but-steady movement of Storm fans who have pledged to support the book again if/when Shuri gets killed. I can't promise the same, but I will be willing to give it another look.* In the meantime, the event they're most looking toward (the ones who've bothered to even stick around) is Shuri getting her ass whipped. I haven't seen a character so universally loathed by an entire group of people since Davy Cameron. Even Panther Storm fans can't stand her.
*Wait, who am I kidding? I still wouldn't touch it.
If you're waiting around to see Shuri get bumped off, you'd better get comfortable because that's going to be a loooooooong wait.
For guest stars, I think the following would be cool:
11. The Hulk: He's in Wakanda...I don't know why, but he's there. And he's angry. Not only the green one, but the red one, too. And what if it was the SMART green Hulk? (or was the grey Hulk the smart one)? Could Panther and Storm out-smart a smart, rampaging Hulk?
As Much As I love Ken, Conrad is no slouch, I mean I don't remember the last time I got to read a comicbook, in which the black character's eached looked different and had their own distinct facial features, on thing I can say about Conrad is that he take the time to make each one of his African/African American characters look unique. Plus He Draws Shuri with a Super Booty!
