Priest is the man....loved his Falcon back in the 80s...and his BP (most of it)...he could have made me want to read Firestorm again (dropped this one).....

Yes, Mariko.  BTW, Jean does not have the mutant power to resurrect herself ....the Phoenix force brings her body back...she simply telepathically cried out to the universe as she was dying.

Back on topic, looks like this World Tour Arc is going to be great and possibly an explanation as to why the Watcher appeared at the wedding.

Have to say that after reading some of Priest's experiences at Marvel and DC as the first Black Editor/Writer that he has earned my respect....despite not liking his last year of writing BP during his tenure....he had the balls to get me interested and to do it his way...understand that the Americanization of BP was due to poor sales and he wanted to save the book.  Also, he could not get Storm on for more than three issues due to conflicts with the Editors of X-Men.

Back on topic, believe that Hudlin is building on BP from his own view and as most writers do he is bringing in elements that push his storyline along.  He has great ideas and execution and has not written a bad issue yet.  BP is the most unique title at Marvel IMO.

Agreed.  Wolverine even romanced Jean in the movie adaptation XIII (or at least was the love interest).  Think they would be more compatible as she is his true love or is it Yoriko (the Asian woman from UXM 171 & 172).

Yes, Scott Eaton is spectacular on this book...his art has been beyond words for his entire run.

And the pairing of Storm & BP is gaining momentum amongst the naysayers.....people on other sites ( are admitting they never read BP and that they see his humanity after reading his title as opposed to assuming based on media speculation.....if more people read and then formed an opinion the world would be a more progressive place.  \

BP is my favorite marvel title ...ahead of X-Factor.

There's a war going on in America too on the streets with the homeless people -and families seem to be at war with one another at times and do not communicate.  One cannot fight a war halfway around the world if  they cannot fight the one in their hearts, souls and minds.  A war on freedom was made obvious when a man received the posiition known as President in the US without receiving a majority of the electoral votes and the people in Florida were disenfranchised.  The whole voting process was made into a sham and no one noticed that war...seems we all lost even more.  Some never had much to lose.

Think Priest renamed himself and may be known to some back in the 80s as Jim Owsley or by some other name...not sure why the name change happend.  Respect him immensely as the man who got me into BP years ago..........and after reading his story on his website the respect runs deeper.

Loved this issue....everything was perfect and there were many surprises...the art was off the charts and this issue should shoot through the roof in sales....everyone that was anyone was at this wedding and it should bring in all the naysayers who don't want Storm with BP.  Nuff said.
