...Does BET still have Comicview?

Should we? How do people feel about that show?

It used to be funny as heck. Then it lost something I guess it's edge. With all the drama in ones comedy is always good. Take the last comic standing the people who did that show even on bad weeks it still got ratings and made people laugh. As the one of the writers once told me people are always looking for a good laugh.
So I guess that was a long winded yes if it could be updated~CGP

That is a perfect illustration of the central theme of Freakonomics.  Generally speaking, people tend to reason about things by extrapolating from their mental models, i.e. based on what they already know or believe.  Looking at actual data often yields a different picture.  Here are some fundamental ideas from the introduction:
  • Incentives are the cornerstone of modern life.
  • The conventional wisdom is often wrong.
  • Dramatic effects often have distant, even subtle causes.
  • "Experts" use their informational advantage to serve their own agenda.
  • Knowing what to measure and how to measure it makes a complicated world much less so.

No wonder I like this book.  The reason so many drug dealers live at with their moms is that, except for the ones at the top of the structure, they don't make very much money.
I might have to read the book...

Of course mach 5 's are really good use them no more then twice.
Before shaving good skin care, buy products! made specifically for men skin. Clinique has a great line. Trust me it makes a real difference.
Good Luck!!

I too love the wire and can't wait for it to come back on.
Mentality is one reason many drug dealers still live with their moms. I always say they aren't very bright.
I "know" a few who played the game right but most are dead or doing time one on death row they made a great movie of the week about him. He saw no money from it of course, he didn't live with his mother he bought her a beautiful home and had also purchased a wonderful one for hisself.
One of the biggest dealers here in Ca has the prettiest house on the hill drive by all the time, wonder what he tells his neighbors??

« on: August 03, 2006, 05:52:05 pm »
Isn't self presevation number 1? So most of us although we don't like to admit it would strike.

Casualities are sadly are like pregnant teens,  you're better able to deal with them when they belong to your neighbor. But you know they happen all the time.

In the room with the gun, triple tap...
