Hudlin TV / Re: WALKING DEAD season 5

And Morgan finally joins the group. The timing? I don't know how good it is that the first thing he sees Rick doing is blowing someone's brains out.

I hope it is actually a Luke Cage's series and not like the Sticky Finga Blade series that turned out to be Krista's show featuring Blade.

Really The Emo-goblin? I think his whole point was that he was racist. A bio weapon created by a racist group to kill minorities.

PS: Where's White wash Johns?

Black Panther / Re: Hickman's Epic: A somewhat different perspective

T'Challa without Wakanda and vibranium and Shuri (standing on his way) is still a genius, superhuman warrior who happens to be black and African.

PS: If Wakanda is dead. Then he can bring her back to life. The way I see it is a win win situation in the hands of a capable writer.

What big picture? T'Challa is the Black Panther. Wankanda could die  (hope that isn't the case) and stay dead as long as T'Challa remains the Black Panther. I don't want substitutes. Whether they are male or female, I just don't care about anyone else but T'Challa. Just waiting for someone (another Hudlin) who enjoys writing the character at the top of his game.

Almost every Dominican I've met is black. Even the president. Weird sh*t ???

Mutants are dangerous. Some are powerful enough to destroy an entire city just by thinking about it hell some could even destroy the entire planet. People is right when they're afraid of mutants. To compare mutants with blacks and other identifiable and prosecuted minorities is not just ludicrous but immoral as hell. Imaging mutants in the real world. Imaging having a neighbor who's body emits lethal radiation. He's a nice guy but he doesn't have any control over how or when his body will release the lethal radiation. Would it be bigotry to not want to live near that person? No. It would be common sense. If the government decided to isolate that person it wouldn't be due to prejudice or racism. The guy is a frigging weapon of mass destruction. The metaphor doesn't work at all because skin color, nationality, language, sexual orientation and culture are not the same as being able to melt people just by touching their hand.

I'm just glad they killed her instead of T'Challa

Absolutely nothing. The X-MEN is about white guys with super powers fighting each others so the publisher (Marvel comics) makes lots of money.

Black Panther / Re: Which writer diminished T'Challa the most?

Roy Thomas no doubt about it. Despite everything the other guys did to T'Challa he still was a scientist. Roy Thomas turned him into a glorified acrobat.

Did Strange's soul was robbed from him or he just lost it? I think it is implied that he became soulless due meddling with the dark arts (chaos magic and stuff)

Strange and Namor are truly f*cked up. They've gone full on villains now. imo.
T'Challa is the only one coming off more or less unscathed when you think about it. Yes he lost Wakanda, his sister (apparently) and the love and respect of his ancestors but he was shown to be better man than even T'Chaka the great king. Because no matter how they want to justify themselves. Non of them have ever had to murder an entire world to secure Wakanda's survival. I might be in the minority but I liked what Hickman revealed about Wakanda's past. He revealed something I always knew/imagined to some extent. All great power is maintained at a great price. Wakanda didn't survive and thrive by doing the right thing all the time and plenty of times they got their hands dirty by action of by lack there of. I like the idea of T'Challa been the best Wakanda has ever offered to the world but never realizing it himself (an anti-Doom of sorts) He is a man for whom Honor and Justice aren't simply pretty sounding words to be used in long winded speeches. Those are principles which he lives by yet despite his great mind his spiritual connection to the feline divinity and his wealth and great power he's still just a man. They all are. And they are all desperate.

What would T'Challa do in response to #ICantBreathe?

Nothing. It's not his country. It would be either Steve Rogers or Sam Wilson the current Captain America whom should do something in response.

Lex Luthor isn't and has never been physically imposing or scary. He intimidates with his mind and his words and I  think Eisenberg can pull it up.

Price Lothar shouldn't be included in these list. He was stereotypical but not as bad as the other 3 characters. He actually evolved into Mandrake's partner not just his servant.

In hindsight, yeah, he's not as bad as Ebony, Whitewash and Steamboat.

I really liked him on  The Defenders Of The Earth cartoon back in the 80's.
