Who are the new leaders of the underground?

It is time to go far beyond affirmative action to reach equal justice for all.

A brief sketch over four emerging urban markets based on different forms of slavery in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.

I ripped Priest's writing in 2000 for not giving T'Challa decisive victories (and went further with criticism that impacted how he handled Rhodey in "The Crew"), especially after his comments about black audiences in "The Client" tpb.

It is striking to hear those notes echoed about Coates' first arc. I think I'm going to reserve judgment until issue 5 or 6.

Could similar criticism have been raised about "The Client" after 3 issues?

If T'Challa beat the FF, how does he struggle against Grodd? Didn't Luthor beat Grodd 1on1, h2h? ;-p

Did anyone post Jonathan Gayles' blog on Rhodey's death?

I'm confident BP will have more shine in Ultimates in another issue or two ... just call it a hunch.

Barnes and Due could write together and do something amazing.

Of course, I'm biased, but I'm also eager to see a John Jennings variant cover for BP.

Given the criticism so many of the past (and present) authors of Black Panther have received, I wondered who would HEFfas nominate to be the next writer on the title.

I steer towards folks like David Walker, Nalo Hopkinson, Balogun Ojetade, or Imani Perry. Maybe even Geoffrey Thorne would give the title a look...

Who would you nominate?

I also came to Panther under Priest ... #11, iirc. Liked it, loved when my initials showed up as part of a market ticker showing the economic manipulations of the Killmonger arc. Went back and read "The Client" tpb - the nonlinear style hooked me permanently.

RH was solid for me, especially with the connections that developed the Animated Series and inspired McDuffie's version of the FF.

Been a Wakandan Ambassador since the 100-page monster under Priest. (#36?)
