I like Dr.Strange but I've only read probably around 6-7 in 25yrs and I've watched the animated movie and the TV pilot yrs ago.

I've seen over at DC comics that they are doing comics of Batman '66 and Wonder Woman '77 basically telling stories that weren't told during the shows run. I think it would be cool if Marvel did Dr.Strange this way based on the the Dr. Strange TV in 1978. I've always wished that the show had given a chance of a full season. This would be a chance to give us that season.

However I'd like to say I'm not crazy about Otto Schmidt's artwork. Perhaps it will grow on me.

I have always considered myself a comic book purist. So wondered why cast Billy D.Williams as Harvey Dent, Marlon Wayans as Robin. But now I don't care. I like the CW's Flash Iris,Wally, Captain Cold, Hawkgirl,  and Jimmy Olsen's race doesn't bother me. Just tell a good story.

Nice poster. I wish Green Lantern and J'onn J'onzz were on the team. The Dream Team of comic book heroes'.

In the comics Kaecilius the character that will be played by Mads Mikkelsen is actually one of Baron Mordo's underlings. Perhaps that is what route they are going.

Ok, just found Green Arrow new 52 Vol 4 & 5 on Amazon for under $5 each used.

Funny , you mentioned Mike Grell. Green Arrow was never one of my favorites until I notice what appeared to be a serious take on character wearing a hood instead of that god awful (imo) cap. Plus he wasn't using trick arrows. Mike's run on Green Arrow though I only read about 9 to 10 or 11 issues. I love the cover art and tone of the stories. It was to me like a Christopher Nolanized version before Christopher Nolan.

Kevin Smith's run on Quiver I found interesting. I recall issues 1& 2 and some other issues of that story arc. I know that Oliver's butler or house boy in the end was not what he appeared to be. So I probably need to get that also .

Once the CW's Arrow hit I became more of a fan due to Stephen Amell's portrayal. Just recently purchased Green Arrow #1 of this DC rebirth

The trailer surprised me in a god way. I'm familiar with basic Wonder Woman origin story. The 1975 The New Original Wonder Woman starring Lynda Carter is pretty much faithful to the early comics. The only difference so far is its a World War I setting instead of World War II (not sure why they felt they had to do that or even wanted to do that.) The fighting style looks amazing. I thought for a first trailer they showed a lot. But I still feel like they are really keeping things quiet.

I'm only familiar with Wonder Woman's villains The Cheetah aka Priscilla Rich, Ares, Baroness Paula Von Gunther, Circe, Dr. Psycho. I'm sure she has more but these are the only ones I care to see in this movie.

WOW, I guess I'm not familiar with Green Arrow's villains. Think Ill try and pick up Green Arrow vol 5 (NEW 52)

The Skeleton Cartel, Jefe, Night Bird all seem very interesting. Onomatopocia, Clue Master would be cool. I had forgotten about Lady Vic. That would be cool. I got the perfect actress. Charity Wakefield . She starred in that NBC show called The Player along with Wesley Snipes.

I hope they get some fresh fight choreographers as well as better writers.

Yeah, his Rogue Gallery is lacking a bit. As for the writing I don't understand why screw with what appears to be working for you. Another problem imo is the fight scenes. The first 2 seasons were great now it's  hot mess. Poor Laurel never looked convincing as a fighter. I'm ok with Team but only if its Diggle (without the Mask) Felicity (not as a love interest, just his computer wiz) I'm ok with Roy Harper/Arenal/Speedy. I hate that it seems everyone seems to know his secret that's not EVERYBODY but imo too many people know.

I think it would be cool to create an original villain just for the show( like they did Harley Quinn on Batman:TAS) I thought they should kept Mr. Blank from episode 20 of season 1. He was just plain ruthless. I'd like to see Gentleman Ghost, Roulette, Sondra Fuller( I think she's the female ClayFace)

As for my son, he just text me he's now watching the episode where Slade tells Laural Oliver is Arrow.( He must have lots of free time on his hands)

I was just watching BvS yesterday. The part in the movie when Bruce is having a Nightmare and he's at his mothers tomb he is attacked by some giant bat monstrosity that appears to bite him. My question is was that The Man-Bat?

I just finished up the last 2 episodes this morning. Loved seasons 1 & 2  , 3 not so much,4 a little better than 3. I'm  hoping 5 is much better. Goes back to what made 1 & 2 good even if that means borrowing from Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy universe.  My son who lives abroad is just now watching season 1. Trying not to spoil it for him. He's on episode 18 now.

Hard Choices / Re: Thriller or Off the Wall?
« on: July 16, 2016, 06:49:00 pm »
I'd have to go with Off The Wall but Thriller had better ballads imo. If you could combine the best 5 tracks from each album it would be an untouchable classic.

That  would be foolish on his part since he was found not guilty. What would that accomplish?

Darn!, Cranston is a beast of an actor. Almost unrecognizable as LBJ. Good Job.
