I really hope they get American Eagle involved in this in via a one shot.

I'm trade waiting this.  American Gods is my single favorite fantasy novel, and I think I've given away about 10 copies over the last 15 years.  I'm thinking about buying about 5 copies of the trade and just passing them out to people who ask me question about the show but aren't going to sit down and read a novel.

I think writers should look at how Asgard has been used in Thor comics for a good model on building BP's relationship with Wakanda.

Mr. Hudlin,

If we remove Static from consideration, which Milestone property do you think is most ready to hit the ground running as a feature film or prestige television series?  I discount Static since he's already a known and proven entity.  Personally, I'd love to see a premium network do something with Blood Syndicate.

I've always felt that Blood Syndicate, as a concept and as an actualized series, "out X-Mens" the X-Men in terms of authenticity and spoke much more directly to the POC/Minority experience while tying in the fantastic.  X-Men just seems like a Hollywood bus tour of racism.

Black Panther / Re: "Can I be your Best Black Friend?"

I think Voodoo would make the most sense as his actual best friend.  I think T'challa respects Blue Marvel for his mind, but thinks he's mostly a sell out.

Mr Hudlin, thanks for popping in to answer a few questions.

What I liked about your run was that you had T'Challa interact with the greater MU instead of just isolating him away in a small corner.

One of the things I would like to see is T'Challa having a better and stronger rogues gallery. Other than Klaw and Killmonger, there aren't many that really stand out. I've always said that BP needed his own Sinister Six, a team that could challenge him on every level. Are there any Marvel villains that you would have added to his list of rogues and if so, who?
The real solution is to create more villains that have an organic relationship with the star of the book.  The truth is, most heroes don't have enough perfect opponents.  Batman has the most, and even his list gets weak three movies in.

It's easy to create those characters, but the major companies don't design fair compensation packages to justify giving them that much IP (intellectual property).  So you see the same characters from the pre-artists rights era.

Honestly I'm kinda shocked that BP and HYDRA don't have many encounters. Flags of our Fathers touched on this(good min!) and it gave us a great villain with a great name -Armless Tiger-Man! He shouldbe in somebody's book somewhere.

I did my own fan-fic story with him titled ARMLESS TIGER MAN: ARMED TO THE TEETH!

I don't know if he's directly related to ATM, but there is a new guy in the new Iron Fist book that is clearly inspired by him.

As long as I'm over here talking with y'all about it the Storm/BP pairing isn't terrible.  I've never been a huge Storm fan in general (mostly due to me not being able to #### with the X-Men as realized concept AT ALL), but the nonsense spewed by many of her stans and the unfans last time around torpedoed my already limited interest in the character.

Truthfully the only time I find her interesting at all is when she has nothing to do with the X-Men.

Anyone else playing Persona 5? It's been a long time since I've played a real JRPG (I'm not counting FFXV), but I love this game.  I'm roughly 30 hours in and I've barely scratched the surface.

Great characters, interesting story, and one of the best soundtracks in years.

My favorite victory was against Lemon... er Namor's Trident.

To be fair Don Lemon has been trying to turn it around lately, so may I'll change dude's name to Sheriff Clarke's Trident.

You guys are still arguing with him?

Dudes like wet eel man, you think you grabbed the f*cker and have him cornered in an argument and he slips from your grasp

The others at least really like BP, just have different view points (and some have dug their heals in and won't listen to anything). I can't even tell if Xpac likes BP or just likes getting a rise out of everyone lol

He may be using that thread to sharpen his debate club skills or something.

What's funny is I made this exact comment in the CBR BP thread earlier today.  But in the passive aggressive way i do where i don't say the troll's names but i say enough where they know i'm talkin about em.

And Ezyo, you're the one I was talking about when I mentioned some of yall are waaaay too patience in engaging with these trolls, when you know they on that bullsh*t.

I'm definitely keeping calm, there have been time's I've had to edit my list because I all but told him to shut the f*ck up but Will tone it down. I an about ready to just troll him hard though because that's all he does

I always wanted to ask him if the reason why he never posts in the Spider Man forum is for the same reason he ducks Maj and I... i.e. they got in his ass so bad about his bs and collectively told him to kick rocks.

He's not a black panther fan, just an attention seeker who finds BP fans susceptible to his trap posts where he says some dumbsh*t mirrored in half truths, knowing that BP fans like to not only debate but get very granular.

Patience and logic kills the Unfan. Sometimes you can bait them too.

Back when the X-Gang used to troll the BP thread (When I was either still KOSLOX, Brandon McKinnis, or Spear of Bashenga) I took out tons of unfans.

I had sentinel level numbers.

They should bring back Josiah X as the new Patriot.

Honestly, if they did that I don't even think Patriot fans can really get that salty about it.

I'd like to see Sofia brought back into the fold as one of T'challa operatives.

I'd read a book about Kasper, QDJ, Vibraxis, and Sofia.  I think that would actually be a really solid team.

For like Six issues though lol.

I'd rather read and reread six issue of something interesting than the last 30 years of X-Men books.

I wish they would have given this guy 5 issues and Gay one issue to tell her terrible and boring story.

This book probably wouldn't have been cancelled, at least not as quickly.
