The Real Game Of Thrones.

Was Andromeda Black?
100 Amazing Facts About the Negro: Evidence that a figure in Greek mythology received a European makeover.
By: Henry Louis Gates Jr. Posted: Feb. 17 2014 1:00 AM

In Greek Mythology, Andromeda was an Ethiopian princess, daughter of (Ethiopian King & Queen) Cepheus & Cassiopeia, wife of Perseus, & great-grandmother of Hercules.

I wonder if those illustrations are from Magic the Gathering or Dungeons & Dragons?

Either way, there has never been a time when there were this many Black characters...  with great art, at that!  :)

Shooo...   back-in-th'-day...?  ;D
Magic The Gathering was at its best in 1997-1999, then after that, became too corporate.  Gamers who played the card game earlier will tell you different.   Anyway...

Had a black deck that was so devastating that the player league banned certain cards from my collection.  It was then that I decided to bounce... like that TV journalist in Alaska who conceded,
"Fvck it, I quit."

D&D?
If you are a old school comicbook reader, that was how anyone knew anything about the game because that is where the game was promoted: through the comicbook ads.
Dungeons & Dragons was at it best in the very begining when playing the game required 100% of the participants' imagination.
Today, the game is much more like a tactical wargame than an actual role-playing game but make no mistake... D&D is the grandfather of ALL role-playing games.
