Is anybody else watching this?  It's my new guilty pleasure for the summer..  A police procedural set in 1864 NYC, with a tortured Irish war vet for its protagonist.

I Plan on checking it out.  The period of US History surrounding Five Points NY especially during the height of Irish immigration after the potato famine is very interesting.  I loved Gangs of New York, artistic license and all.
