My step-bro just linked me some Collie Buddz.  The track is funky as hell.

And a little something about Collie from UD...
A relatively new dancehall artist who was born in New Orleans, moved to Toronto and then eventually to Bermuda. He is "white" and has a passing resemblance to Eminem. His actual race is debatable although he was born in New Orleans, so he could be of Creole or mixed Creole descent. He openly reps for "Bermy" or Bermuda and that is home to him. However, when it comes to breaking it down to race, he is considerably "whiter" than Sean Paul. His voice, however, is so authentic sounding that you'd swear he was anything but white. He has a very good and innovatice dancehall style that is a cross between Yellowman and Sean Paul. Currently he only has 2 songs out "Come Around" and "Mamacita." The first is probably the best weed anthem since Cypress Hill put out "Stoned is the Way of the walk" in 1991!

This article cracks me up; "He is 'white' and has a pasing resemblance to Eminem...'whiter' than Sean Paul. His voice, however, is so authentic sounding that you'd swear he was anything but white". ZOMG!! B*tch please. There is no such thing as melanin induced voice, grow up. The author even liken his style to "a cross between Yellowman and Sean Paul". Either this person doesn't know dingleberry about Reggae/Dancehall or they are just too blinded by his complexion. I'll take the latter for a thousand, Alex. ::)

Anyways, nice find Marvelous. I thought he would have been (East) Indian since that is a slang term for Indian folks. Other than that, he has talent and video was good(having Paul Wall make a cameo ain't hurting it in the least). Interesting enough, I think this is a fun ganja tune. Not in the league as Buju Banton's Sensemilla Percecuation or Black Uhuru's Sensemilla, but it is still fyah.

Lately, that song makes me cry. I think it's because I'll be 25 next month. That, or because I can't do the dance he does at the beginning of the video. Dammit, I wanna learn that dance!

straight out of Chitown..... a classic jam and great workout music also:

the remix has a a WAY better beat and hook to it that makes you git on the dancefloor.
