Dwight Howard: "Buh Bye Now!"
« on: July 05, 2013, 11:32:57 pm »
Dwight Howard skips town for the midnight train to Houston!

Considering where the Lakers are right now this was the best move for him!

That Phil Jackson coaching decision looms heavy over this so now the Lakers have to regroup... And give Andrew Bynum a call right about now! ;)

At least the Clippers with coach Doc Rivers and Chris Paul re-signed is looking like a good alternative to "Showtime" at the Staples Center!

Just like that... The balance of power in the NBA shifts with one coaching decision that forces a major free agency decision!

Probably a good move for the Lakers as well since Howard was a huge disappointment.

That article is complete idiocy.

You don't feature the game's premier big man in an offense that utilizes his strengths and then you want to criticize him for underachieving.

This begins and ends with Buss.

You sign Jackson and they enter the playoffs with ease and Kobe most likely doesn't get injured in a meaningless game at the end of the season. Howard gets used correctly and he happily re-signs with The Lakers.

Oh yeah Jefferson well... Oh wait that was raw plain truth right there keep it coming! ;D

Sometimes things that appear real difficult are really just simple choices that are so obvious you wonder how people who are paid millions of dollars can't see what basic 9 to 5 working fans with little money to their names see so clearly!

Stephen A kills and closes this argument...

This is funny if you consider the current situation...

Wow, Stephen A. is dead on.

I think D12 made a good basketball decision. Houston is clearly a better situation for him. I'm waiting to see if he was still healing or what we saw at the end of the season is the new 100% for him. If that's it, he'll be very good, not great. If he gets everything back physically - hops, motor, agility - and continues to improve on the offensive end, he has a chance to be great. Howard and Harden are a great start and it'll be interesting to see how they out fill the team around them. They'll be in the mix but the West is stacked.

So the Lakers suck next year and hope to sign folks in free agency. This might mean Kobe doesn't catch MJ.
