CONCRETE PARK ran in Dark Horse Presents for several issues. She's awesome.

From the article:

JET: Whose idea was it to reprise the Living Single characters Maxine and Kyle for a 2005 episode of the sitcom Half & Half?

EA: Yvette Lee Bowser. She thought it would be interesting to catch up with Max and Kyle…  Living Single ended in 1998. It was fun to channel that character again.

Half & Half was one of my favorite shows around '04!  Damn!  Missed that episode only because I didn't have access to television in '05... :-[
...Very funny show! I loved that cast.  That was the first television sitcom show I'd seen MC Lyte in.
Ms. Alexander still looks good!  It should be interesting to see her holding a gun, playing a cop in this new show! ;D

Now this makes perfect sense. Excellent point
With these choices, I felt that the American black man only needed to choose which one to get eaten by; the liberal fox or the conservative wolf because both of them will eat him.

I liked "Half & Half" too, it was a great show and the perfect vehicle for Essence Atkins. "Are We There Yet" comes off like a bad version of "My Wife and Kids".
