Smartphone Referrals Needed
« on: February 01, 2014, 07:17:05 pm »
I've never owned a higher-end phone.. but the Virgin LG Rumor Touch I have now is wearing out..  :P and I'm becoming sick of the smaller screen/buttons..  >:(

I figure I might as well bite the $$ bullet and get one of these smartphone thingies..

So what's good, what's bad, what's just okay?

I'd like something that can take cool photos & videos and share with my home computer..

What does it mean when these phones are advertised as being $199 (or whatever) with a 2-year commitment, but to buy an 'unactivated' phone is $599+?   :o :o

So far.. I'm intrigued by the Galaxy S II (Samsung?)

(kudos to the guy doing the review)

Don't look any further Hype.

I was an iPhone guy for years, got me a Galaxy Note 2 and I will never go back.  I may upgrade to a Note 3 or 4 or the MEGA 2.
