To be clear, MJ is the greatest. So far.

LBJ has a chance to contend for GOAT. Even if (when) the Spurs win this year, imagine if LeBron returns to the Finals 5 more times, winning it, say 4 times. He would be in the showdown with MJ. I think that's a long shot. I do think he's got a legitimate shot at making Mt. Rushmore though.

No King on this mountain, brother.

1. Magic Johnson
2. Michael Jordan
3. Wilt Chamberlain
4. Shaquille O'Neal( What if he made the free throws? >:()

I can feel the flames building for the Lebron roasting in just a few short hours.

Prof., it is up to you to create a defense for The King!
Where is Bill Russell on this list?

Russell doesn't make the cut.

Yeah, I said it!

All of the aforementioned players could win in Russell's era, Russell wouldn't be as great in the modern era of the NBA.

The Lord will judge you harshly for that one.

Go Pistons!
(I had to take it there.  Metro's seen me in my ride-or-die gear...)  ;)

You forgot to include Kobe in the reel!  He was the Piston's MVP in the Finals that year. /s

Leaving Bird, Olajuwon, and Robertson off my all-time team was hard ... so here's the all-time opponents for that team, powered by revenge and neglect from the public at-large

13. Bird
14. Olajuwon
15. Robertson
16. Thomas
17. West

18. Kidd
19. Pippin
20. Nowitzki
21. Garnett
22. Allen
23. M. Malone
24. Havlicek

Would love to see an ESPN virtual matchup between these two squads.
