7 Things We Loved in the New Black Panther Trailer!
 Nerdist News w/ Jessica Chobot

Her recommendation at the end (3:32) is worth noting.

Why doesn't Youtube post? Only the link comes up. I even tried removing the "s".

Why the f*ck are there BP fans pushing back against Na'challa?

you have a big time, gorgeous, great actress playing a re-invented character who seems to be a bad ass

why aren't they embracing this?

man, these unfans ain't even trying to hide it anymore

You see the heavy lifting i'm putting in on CBR right now? lmao

It ain't even February yet!  :)

As for why the unfans are feeling a type of way... remember, a while back during season 1 when Coates was on some podcast/radio interview speculating that not only does T'Challa not want to be king but he also wasn't interested in Wakanda or Wakandan women, and that was why he was always running off with the Avengers and dating non-Wakandan women...

...which to me was ridiculous b/c it implied T'Challa had been with a gang of women when really he had been limited to just 2 in 50 years, largely due to asexual black male syndrome by whites.. but instead of recognizing that dilemma, this smart dumb negro spun it as another means to bad mouth our guy!

So now we have Queen Nakia, who is the living breathing anti-thesis of Coates theory... but is also everything we ever wanted as a strong empowered beautiful capable black woman.  And so, the hilarity ensues...

If Coates can simple de-age Aneka and make her a lesbian, then i think Nakia Can be aged up and retooled to an Elite War dog L.I just to throw it in the face of unfans

You are a wise man Mr. Ezyo.  8)

My only objection is that it should be called T'Nakia. :)

Try putting the YouTube URL (http:// version) in the clear, i.e. not inside the quote shortcode. That should do it.

These trailer reviewers keep trying to give Coates credit for the spirit world scene. I didn't see any panthers in Coates' work. Priest and Hudlin is where I remember that. Lol

Because that is the only thing these people have actually read so they try and give him all the credit to seem "smart"

A lot of people pretend to be "old fans" when something new nad cool pops up, but they ain't.

They be the type to give you a normal handshake instead o the official Wakandan one

People want to act like they have always been riding with T'challa instead of just being honest about it. Like im not gonna lie, I didn't know anything about BP until Maybe about March or so of 2015.. Im not going to lie and say i was down since i was a kid, i didn't know about him, never heard of him, until i was browsing online looking u black superheroes and his name kept coming up on lists. he stood out to me, even though i initially just simply thought his outfit was cool, But thne i started reading the wikipedia info on him and started getting intrigued, then i stumbled upon the amazing HEF and spent the next couple months finding and reading everything i could about BP and watching this forum because i wanted to make sure that when i started posting here, i was atleast moderately knowledgeable enough to have conversations and not spout off ignorance.

People just need to be real, If they were they would see that they only thing so far that Coates could take "Credit" for is Ayo's Name in the movie. Kimoyo beads, force push looking tech, the Bird like design of the quinjet, and the morphing of the habit (Shared credit since Priest had this in his run) and likely some other aesthetics go to Stelfreeze. If people read BP they would see that the main dish is Priest, with a side of Hudlin, covered in Kirby, with Stelfreeze sprinkles as the best way to describe it

meh, its not a big concern.

Its a super hero thing. DC does it too. Zod is Superman's dark mirror. Ares is WW dark mirror. X24/Wolverine, Magneto/Xavier

its a common CBM trope.
