CBR is hardly the place I'd go for nuanced discussion let alone honest discourse.

Best Actor/Actress:

T'Challa : his ability to convincingly portray such an strategically handicap, non-introspective character crippled with such emotionalism was simply brilliant.

Shuri : arguably one of the greatest portrayals of Wakandan leadership scene on panel.

Best Supporting Actor/Actress:

Reed Richards: his performance to stretch credibility and remind us all that everyone lost something, will not be soon forgotten.

Black Swan:  Move over Rooney Mara, the girl with the albino tattoo was all the rage at the beginning Hickman's red carpet event.

Most Dastardly Villian:

Namor period. Mastering the craft to reimagine himself as an ultra modern metro sexual with delusions of grandeur almost stole the show.

Best Performance in Overly Drawn Out Dystopian Circle Jerk:

Victor Von Doom: who follows up his award winning performance in Doomwar with this years convincing portrayal of a conflicted, burdensome yet relatable God of all creation.

Intended this for some fun but neglected to give my own nominations.  Here you go Wakanda fam:

Best Actor/Actress:

Doom - Clearly intended to drive the story and command most of the attention, his dissection of the incursion problem, spurning the Illuminati, enlisting the Molecule Man and Latverian resources to solve the problem was positively T'Challian.

Black Swann - Ushered in the incursions with quite a stir and was most prominent female character at least until Secret Wars got going.

Best Supporting Actor/Actress:

Namor:  Portrayed convincingly enough as a villain to make me want to see T'Challa follow through with his promise to kill him.

Shuri: Like T'Challa relegated to a supporting role, but regal, strong and dedicated to the defense of Wakanda.

Most Dastardly Villian:

Hickman: Bait switched T'Challa, stripping him of the lead role and his dignity in a gross mischaracterization which included T'Challa openly bawling as he crumbled under the pressure of the moment.

Best Performance in an Overly Drawn Out Dystopian Circle Jerk:

Owen Reece, The Molecule Man: Who knew the fate of the new MU could be decided by a seldom used super-villian?

Peace,

Mont
