Read this one & it was ok...Millar did a great run on Wolverine about 3 years ago (almost)...never saw any of Hitch's work (do not really care for it in this issue...it's ok but nothing spectacularly interesting).  Will try this out for another two issues and if it stays at this level it can stay on the shelf too.

Miss McDuffie on this book!!!!!

Read Millar's issue #2 (555) and it seems a little forced in some places...will try to give it one more time before dropping it- seems like it's mostly hype and just average art and story telling.  Johnny's story is a little over the top this issue and Mr. Fantastic's connection to "Mrs. Fantastic" is less than mentionable.  Sue was absent in this issue and The Thing was there for a scene or two.

I dropped FF after this issue.  It feels too Ultimate FF for my tastes.  Ahh, it was a good run...70+ issues, but I'm done with the FF for a little while.  If it gets better, I'll either pick up the trade or pick up the back issues on eBay down th line.

Ditto, he was the only thing making me read it.

Re-read both of the last two issues and decided to drop this one...Millar is not hitting it with his starter story/plotlines.

Yeah it's pretty underwhelming so far...

I decided to pull out a few stacks of Justice League of America (and Fantastic Four) when Mr. McDuffie was writing and had the priviledge of AAA artists drawing it at the time.

Issue #27, the page where Dr. Kimiyo Hoshi walks into her apartment and is surprised by a team of 'capes';  There's that shot of Hardware standing in the middle of the group shot, in the 2-page spread that Curtis Metcalf uses for his avatar in HEF that stands out drawn beautifully by Ed Benes!

It's a fun read! :)
