Hey, guys. Just wanted to let you guys know that I'll be launching the Kickstarter for the next volume of my book series, Is'nana the Were-Spider, this coming Monday for anyone who is interested.  If you haven't gotten Vol 1 yet, which is currently sold out, you'll be able to get that also!

Cool. I still need to get a new copy of Vol. 1 from you.

Since you are working with Anansi Mythos too, how to you feel about the characters used in Black Panther and American Gods if you look at either?

Vol 1 is currently sold out but the Kickstarter is also raising money for reprints of that. So you'll be able to pledge for both volumes.

I didn't know he's being used in Black Panther. Is this in the recent Coates run? I've dropped that book a few issues in.

I loved Orlando Jones as Anansi. That boat scene in episode 2(?) was legit as hell. I also love Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. I'm hoping Jones gets to read Is'nana at some point.

He used spider foot soliers in issue 17 and called them 'The Anansi".

As long as there's interests. Especially as it's also a coming of age story, there are some stuff i can play with, like him building a social life and trying new things as a teen. Not every story is going to be him fighting and hunting monsters. But also, I do have a lot to draw from concerning Black folklore. I want to make his stories as diverse as possible. Financially it may be tough to produce on a regular, but if I can turn it into a long going franchise, I'd love that.
