Another solid episode.

I like this one from the upcoming Crossbones episode. "You are in Wakanda now, Crossbones. Which means you do not even get to die without my permission."

Oh my!
I was diggin' it!
As a matter of fact, I have liked most of the fight scenes so far.

Did it seem like he was fighting to avoid hurting her instead of fighting tonwin. Seemed like he mostly just dodged.

Agreed. This is very much in keeping with a seminal aspect of T'Challa's personality as defined by our very own R to the H: T'Challa doesn't fight women. He simply distracted her and set her up to be KO'd by Khamala.

Seconded. The opening sequence was a respectful nod to Reginald Hudlin, though I wonder why the assumed EMP didn't disable mechanical soldiers? Making Zanda a shape shifter was a novel idea. While I'll always insist on insular Black Panther tales, Red Jack  did a good job of mixing things up by starting in Wakanda with the Dora Milaje, visit Atilin with Ms Marvel and meet Black Bolt, Medusa and Crystal. No Tiger Shark and surprisingly no Shuri. The slow to boil threat of the Shadow Council is also a smart move.

Given this is a Disney channel cartoon a certain amount of lightheartedness and humor is to be expected. Not having T'Challa be the focus of such is another good strategy. In any media the Black Panther occupies a rather unique niche, one that must sheath political intrigue and cultural awareness around a meritocratic sovereign who is both a globalist and a futurist. An Afrakan  pontiff who is a scientific genius and master martial artist in a science fiction universe overlayed with fantasy and mysticism. Now there's a venn diagram for you.

My only question is, how did she get around T'Challa's senses.  He hung around her for hours and didn't sense through her disguises; even after knowing she was doing it.

Even despite that, this show keeps getting better and better and really wondering who are going to be the masterminds behind the Shadow Council.

Quit playing DXD, go ahead and announce the 2nd season.

And that "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" line was killer!
I literally laughed out loud.
Loved it!

The fight choreography is impressive. I like (and I'm used to) Marvel's animation style.

This maybe my favorite episode thus far.

This episode is so feat heavy that it made up for a dozen poorly scripted comic books.

Meditation and communion with a giant serpent. The fight with Kraven and the super human speed and awesome leaping ability. The battle with Killmonger. Shuri and the Dora Milaje beautifully rendered and fully engaged in the action. A larger narrative unfolding episodically.

This is not only good cartooning (the animation is on point) because of the story but also because it shows us things that we all knew the Black Panther should have but most iterations simply refused to show or highlight.

Here's to multiple seasons and to Redjack deciding to do an ongoing.
