MCU most certainly, as for the comics... there is a certain mutant woman that occupies that space for now. I wonder if they'll break up again if the Krakoa goes to war with Wakanda?

I'm wonder if Hickman has gained complete control over Storm? It seems like he's been given the total reigns over mutants in MU.

Good point Kip. I think Coates' status may make Hickman amendable to Storm being apart of Black Panther's world. The question is what kind of relationship will they have? Ideally they could serve as the bridge between human and mutant kind. All kinds of stories could be derived from their attempts to unite these two factions.

There is also a very good chance they just let Coates finish out his five years and it simply won't make narrative since what is going on in BP vs Hickman's stuff. It has been very disconnected from the get go.

I mean hell, we just now maybe sorta figured out all this stuff is happening back in Secret Empire time table.

Yeah it's pretty much the perfect excuse to have them separate once it's all done. I mean whatever I don't care that the run is so far out of continuity because all it would finish mess up the good stuff happening now, but it's really dumb and doesn't make sense why he is doing the past stuff

AoW is likely just a 6, maybe 8 issue mini unless Zub has a dedicated fan base that sticks around his books.

So enjoy it while you can! I will anyway

The numbers for issue 2 will be critical. If it's rise numbers then it will be likely 6. If it's like say 25k? Then maybe it can get to 12 issues or more if it stabilizes quickly like rise

BLACK PANTHER and the AGENTS of WAKANDA

In issue #3 the art work was good and I reveled at viewing the Black Panther on the moon with only his uniform. I am glad someone realized his vibranium habit would be more than adequate for off planet adventure.

While we at least got to see the Black Panther do some things, the writers have got to up their game and by extension the narrative and threat level. T'Challa clawing tentacles/vines is so passé.

Mockingbird?!? Oh, great. another broken white girl for us to fix. What is this... a team of misfits? D level characters burdening the Black Panther with their obsolesce. Enough already.

This comic book would be so much better with an all Wakandan team comprised of new and original characters. The narrative would read with fresh voices and provide unique perspective as our world and the stellar regions beyond were viewed through Wakandan eyes. A Wakandan vessel filled with specialist engaging in all kinds of intrigue and not behaving like cookie cutter standees filling pages.

Fear of a black planet is one thing but fear of a black Wakanda is ridiculous.

There needs to be actual espionage specialist in this story. Widow, WS, HZ (kasper needs a new identity and place to grow) till fill the agenda, T'Challa Okoye and Kasper for the Wakandan portion, miles and Adam bradsear for the rising star and exposure to more Black heroes.

Also im still very annoyed we haven't seen N'Yami motherships since the BP annual. We should see then come back we should also see other battle ships, like smaller ships, like say T'Chaka class battle cruisers, have them be between the size of N'Yami motherships and the Wakandan quinjets we see in the solo and around the MU. Then give us S'yan class assault prowler's. And other Wakandan vehicles that we should of seen make their debut. Honestly the Wakandan helicarrier isn't very unique. Looks cool but it doesn't feel like a vehicle Wakanda would have, at least not that design. Hence why it should be an N'Yami mothership

Avengers support team?!? T'Challa's reasons for organizing this team would not be anything short of securing Wakanda and by extension the world. He saw the vacuum S.H.I.E.L.D. left and filled it to service his own agenda. The Agents charter does not even give clear directives on the choosing of individuals for specific missions. What does Mockingbird know about the moon and extraterrestrial exploration.

The Black Panther has been plague with generic and or disposable iterations of everything from his tech to his kingdom for decades. Editors should have made sure that character design, specific landmarks and architecture as well as vehicles and weapons were trademarked Black Panther and consistently displayed in any and all tales concerning the Black Panther. I loved the Priest era N'Yami battle cruisers and was disappointed that they didn't transfer over into subsequent volumes.

Total agree Ezyo on the Wakandan helicarrier.

Ok.... The much bigger issue is surely BP would have better passwords than Ororo or Stirmbringer.  How easy would those codes be to hack!

Enjoyed issue #3. I dont think the series will go past 12, but I think it will be a fun 12 issues.

If it can stabilize (I believe issue 2 was at 27k) then it may go oadt 12 issues. Honestly I really need something BP centric to last more theb 6-12 issues. Rise had potential but ended at 6, Coates version as been an ongoing nightmare for BP enthusiasts, And Avengers, while great, isn't T'Challa focused. AoW had been good about giving T'Challa the treatment we've wanted in the solo.

I think it needs to put some known Characters into the story though.yhe cast seems random abd I think having  spy's on itnthst carry a fanbase can help it stay out of cancelation
