But you wouldn't mind seeing him punch Tony in the face on the way out the door, would you?

That would only sweeten the broth.  8)

Jonah- i'm sure he'll try to sue for a billion dollars-- but this is a great opportunity to highlight jonah's hypocrisy over the years.. and IMO, the lawsuit doesn't have much ground to stand on-- it's not like The Bugle had a standing policy that says ‘super heroes cannot sell photos of themselves’, and I’m sure the freelance contracts—if there were any—didn’t say anything about full disclosure about alternate identities.. Pete should get Matt Murdock on his team.. oh, wait-- he's in jail..  :-\

Peter can sue Jonah. too. The Spider Slayers, the Scorpion, the Fly-that constitutes unlawful persecution.

I'm glad to see that some people remember that JJJ is one the top Spidey villains of all time. I loved that Dan Slott brought the SPider-Slayer out of the attic in the last issue of She-Hulk.

With the death of Goliath, Peter's starting to wise up.

well it has been alluded to that tony is monitoring peters powers with that costume,  so  with spidy  going back to a black costume soon i reallly doubt it
the game is messed up,  singers want to be gansters, gangsters want to be rappers, and rappers want to  be actors

I have only one statement to say about ASM #535 (do not call it Spoiler):

It's ON

Heard that Spiderman switched sides. Which I don't mind, but I would like him to have gotten his ass beat first.  But I guess Goliath takes the hit. :-\

Oh, he's getting his ass whooped alright. They leaked a cover a long time ago with him getting beat on by every Spidey-villain in creation, and odds are looking great for Iron Man to hand him his ass next month.

But then, Spider-Man getting his ass kicked is nothing new.

you guys are getting a bit ahead of the game (no problem w/ me personally) in regards of ASM #535. but the last page of this comic gives us what's in store in the #536 and/or next month's Civil War

My prediction...Tony has a fail-safe in the suit and tries to use it on Spidey.  Spider never trusted Tony and to Iron-man's surprise, Peter has deactivated whatever tony has in the Spidey-suit.  Spidey continues to kick Tony Starks ass like someone should done a long time ago.  An 'ol fashion Namor ass kickin is what he needs again.   ;)

C'mon let IM get a couple of punches and kicks in there before Peter escapes. If Spiderman doesn't get some or all of his ass kicked and comes out as one of the true heroes of Civil War, I'll be hella pissed. And, I would hate the Spider-Man character.

"Butt-kicking button..." ::)

I lurved the CW#5 cover.  Even more now since the MURDER of Goliath. I think it is fairly okay to expect a throw-down with Spidey getting seriously owned judging from the solicitations also.

Toya, Spider-Man can't go to the corner store for ice cream without getting his ass kicked. What I'm hoping for is that he's one of the guys involved in the inevitable curb-stomping of Iron Man.

I hope they beat Tony so bad he ends up back in a wheelchair.
Do you prefer a hero who will confirm your deepest fears? Or a hero who will inspire faith in humanity and goodness?

Oh okay.

I'll probably purchase a Spidey comic if he gets a CW beat down. Then goes on to redeem himself and tear up Iron Man. Then Reed.
