I hope the show ends up on Netflix. i'll probably be too busy to watch right away.

The other CW shows showed up on Netflix so Black Lightning will probably wind up on there. I watch the show at the CW website so that might be a way for you to check it out. That's how I watch the CW shows is at the website.

Actually just watched the pilot from there and it's a thumbs up for me. A very solid introduction to the character. The cast was good, and I think they've done a nice job with Marvin Jones for Tobias Whale.

The story was a little contrived, but there was a lot of good stuff here, character moments, social consciousness, black sensibility, and the blackest soundtrack ever on CW. My only other quibble was I thought the costume was too bulky but hopefully they streamline it down the road.

I highly recommend checking it out.

It should be on Netflix a week after the season ends.

I really liked it.
It's Lincoln Heights with superpowers. lol.
i just wish that it was a 2hr premiere.
Lala is a great henchman (real world thug sensiblities with a heart for the community. Believably bad), but I'm ready to be terrified by Tobias (classic comicbook kingpin character), too!
