The thirst is real.  But I'll give it up for Tinashe :-* for the spring.  I hope her new LP comes out soon.  Same with Kat, I think she primarily gets promoted in Canada and Europe, for some reason.  Her presence in Vampire Diaries was kind of slept on over the years.  Seems like black actors in "genre" work often don't get the same publicity as their white peers.

I like Tinashe's music more, but overall I like Kat Graham more. I liked her when I was watching Vampire Diaries and I think she was also in the Zane movie Addicted. For some reason Graham in the "Sometimes" video reminded me of Mya.

I do think Graham was often overlooked on Vampire Diaries until the lead actress Nina Dobrev left the show. By that time I had stopped watching, but it seems like they moved Graham's character more to the forefront but I don't know if she was a lead character like that.

For genre black actors I think it depends. I mean Tony Todd, Roger Cross, and Gina Torres seem to get steady work are and are well regarded among nerds, but overall, you don't see groundswells for black actors like you'll have nerd eruptions over say a Kristen Bell or Summer Glau.
