Issue #1 was good and funny. Only a miniseries, but I'm looking forward to the next issue.

I enjoyed the first issue. The art and the story were both good. This is a better take on the character than what I read in the New 52 where they made him too young. Though the New 52 team-up with Blue Devil wasn't a bad idea.

For the new book, I do like the take on Tobias Whale. Reminds me a little of Kingpin and Cottonmouth (the Netflix version). It does seem though he has a fixation on the novel Moby Dick. I hope that is explained as the story progresses.

2nd issue was good. More of a building and commentary story, but they manage to do it without preaching.
