I'd rather call him Duke than The Signal!?!!

He's been an interesting character; not really thrilled with his costume's color--too much yellow, but I could get used to it.   The name????

They crammed a lot into the first issue. But tried to keep it light. Only three issues, but I'll buy to see where it goes.

Has a Static Shock feel to it.

And he does have powers. I don't understand them yet, but they are there. lol

Yeah it was stuffed. They introduced some villains, likely the main villain, his supporting cast, gave some cameos to a lot of the Batfamily, and a scene with Batman. It was cool seeing a Lucius Fox Square or whatever. I was thinking this would be a ongoing series, but 3 issues is better than nothing I suppose. I do like Duke's suit. Not sure about his name, though I did like how the name tied to the idea of 'knight'. The idea that crime only happens at night in Gotham doesn't make sense. Seems like criminals would just switch to doing daylight crimes once they realized Batman and the other Batfamily only comes out at night. That being said, I do like the idea of having a daytime protector for Gotham. That opens up a lot of room for Duke to work in.

isn't he a teenager? Does he go to school? LOL--- how active is he during the day?

in any case best of luck to this character, hopefully he'll continue to make prominent appearances, hopefully an ongoing, and hopefully won't get killed in some future crossover to "push Batman over the edge"...  >:( >:(

This miniseries is set during the summer break.

Scott Snyder created him and I think is his big cheerleader, perhaps like Bendis and Miles Morales. Duke has played a prominent role in Snyder's Batman series, also was in the We Are Robin series, and even showed up in the Rebirth Batman book, but doesn't play a big role there. He was even Robin in an alternate future. So he's been around the Batman part of the DC universe. Snyder and/or DC also are pushing him more than another Snyder creation/favorite Harper Row.

Batman and the signal did 62,000. Guess that is the power ifmBatmans name.

Bet DC wishes they didn't have these delays now. Lol
