From The Undefeated website.

There are some notable snubs.

Jack Johnson?  The first African American Heavy Weight Boxing Champion.  The phrase “Great White Hope” & "Fight of the Century" comes from JJ. Still a great list!

P.S.
Mayweather-McGregor is the perfect example of "the great white hype" (think about it) thanks RH!

Agreed, on both points. It is kind of funny that McGregor is literally Irish. Just need Mayweather to grow a potbelly.

The most notable omission for me is Tiger Woods. But JJ > Joe Frazier and George Foreman by my reckoning. Also, where's Mike Tyson?

Here's a follow-up piece on the top snubs.

I do notice a couple of trends: folks seem to forget older accomplishments -- Althea Coachman (I didn't know about her), Althea Gibson! -- and shy away from "less than admirable" characters/controversy -- Tiger, Barry Bonds, LT, AI, Kobe, and OJ. Also, no respect for the WNBA.
