wow.  This can still happen!  In fact, I'm begging for this to happen!  Let Milestone take over some titles and produce them!! This can be very cool, for sure!!

That would have been cool.

So in the late 90s, Marvel was only doing Spiderman and Xmen in house?

Spider-Man (Miles)
Cloak & Dagger
Power Man & Iron Fist
Black Avengers (I don't care, CALL IT THAT!!! lol.. ) Rotating lineup but have Spectrum, Blue Marvel, Cage, Storm as core members.  And yes, "non-black" folks are welcome to join, lol.

Ah, yes!  She has a cool power set, I'm surprised that she hasn't been used much in recent years-- isn't she a teenager? Maybe she could be in the Champions.

This would be EPIC! Especially Black Avengers team. Though if it was too on the nose, i always thought the Ultimates could be the official "Black Avengers" Team without actually calling it that.

Make this happen somehow! BP would be better used in Milestone, where folks would have been capitialized on the BP movie hype

Yes, they kind of half did it. They had three black characters, but didn't want to get "too black".  I think my Panther run traumatized a lot of folks with its explicit blackness.  But you can't win unless you commit to something.

Wow, that comment really pops when it's used as a pull quote.  I didn't think the statement was that controversial until read it back. Oh well....
