And you're right. But he was also pessimistic about Marvel doing a Black Panther movie correctly, too. He wasn't sure if anyone would come to see it. So he was kinda 50/50

I don't think that's STORM. I think that the idea was originally one of the children of BP and STORM would be reintroduced as BP in the absence of T'Chadwick, in some way shape or form. I'm pretty sure that this was Hickman's idea, but Marvel and Ridley had other plans for BP. So it's a little too late to take back plot points like this and the other messes because Hickman had it that Jean and Emma would find out that Ororo was having the psychic issues she was because she's pregnant with T'Challa's twins.






I don't like Black Panther's ANYTHING being in the hands of THE X-CREMENT OFFICE. While I like Hickman? I don't trust THE X-CREMENT OFFICE. Because as surely as night follows day and woeful malice follows Satan, so too would thoroughgoing dissing of T'Chorro and disrespect specifically of T'Challa, Black men, Black men+Black women relationships, our children, the ALKEBULAN connection and perspective, and all things racist and disrespectful follow the scribing and plans for T'Chorro's children if primarily or exclusively handled by THE EX-OFFICE

Not cool with X-office/Marvel Editorial inventing secret Wakandan relationships with alien races that T’Challa, T’Chaka, Azzari nor assumably any of Wakanda’s Black Panthers (nor Bast) no anything about!?! Not only could it undermine their isolationist sovereignty and unconquered status, but the meritocracy and challenge day as well.

She's Jabari so they were already on the outside anyway. But the overall interaction with the Shiar was positive. The parents left at different times, but she didn't seem upset about it. More like sad. Crazy thing is they made her dad look like MCU M'baku, but the Jabari were overall portrayed positively. Also, they served as guides of Earth for the Shi'ar team meaning they know more about the outside than they let on. Lol

Seems a bit hypocritical given the jabaris strict adherence to isolation, even more than the test of Wakanda.

Maybe it was positive but honestly I don't care for any sort of meddling from the X office because it will always come around to something negative.
