Were alot of these named on... on Saturdays?

I remember Spidey and his Amazing friends, Scooby Doo, Fat Albert (classic) Justice League and the Wonder Twins.

Those were the best!  Sit up with my big-azz bowl of Frosted Flakes or Pops - watch the 'toons, switch over to Soul Train, then kick back with Kung-Fu Theatre in conjunction with Blackula with the well endowed Elvira.  Damn, those were the days!

Y'all are killin' it, taking a brother back and stuff... ;D

Raise ya hands if you remember Monchichi's

*hand is raised* I do remember some of those. Dinosaucers?  Dinosaurs meet Go-Bots more or less ;)

Space Sentinels (a classic)

Pink Panther (Those Inspector Closeau/Anteater cartoons were mad funny, guys)

Godzilla (Godzooky rulez  ;D.)

Hong Kong Fooey (Scatmanis the MAN, yo.)

Tarzan of the Apes (suprizingly close to the books, IRRC)

Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends (Still the best cartoon that ever featured Web-head)

BlackStar (Filmation's take on Tolkien, kind of).

Flash Gordon (I didn't realize how big a Filmation geek I actually was until I did this list)

Mighty Orbots (I remember this being ...pretty)

I left out the stuff I didnt actually see on Saturday's like Transformers 'cause I'm anal.

I know this isn't a cartoon and heck, it probably didn't even come on Saturdays, but I'm feeling nostalgic....

Does anyone remember Space Giants?  The giant robots that turned into rockets?  It was a late 60's (before my time) precursor to the Transformers and their leader was an old man named Methusela!  I remember watching these after school....Space Giants, SpectraMan and UltraMan!

And no SMC (Saturday Morning Cartoon) Thread can be complete without mentioning Battle of the Planets (G Force)!!

Wasn't UltraMan a Asian cartoon?

These weren't cartoons, but yes...UltraMan, SpectraMan and Space Giants were all live-action shows imported from Japan...They were much in the vein of Godzilla and they were blatantly ripped off by Power Rangers and to an extent..Voltron.

Does anybody remember a cartoon about a man who could run really fast, and he had a # 7 on his forehead and chest.

I remember seeing this on vhs..oh and it was in black and white.

Anybody know the name?

That sounds like 8-Man.  Was that anime or was it an American cartoon?
