Ha-ha.. I wish that all of the cartoons/shows that I grew up watching as a kid were available now on dvd.  Slowly, but surely, certain shows have been made available.  I’ve already picked up Dungeons & Dragons and the 70’s Flash Gordon ‘toons.  I have to get around to getting the remaining modern Justice League sets (I only got the first one so far), and 90’s Batman and Batman Beyond.

In particular, the old-school stuff I really want to see in a comprehensive boxed set would be the 1960’s Marvel Superheroes cartoon serials.  Captain America, Thor, Sub-Mariner, Hulk, and Iron Man.  Yes, the animation is mad crude, but you can't front on the good feelings watching it..

Oh and Tah,... That Anime you remember? That's 8-Man alright.
Wasn't 8-man the one that smoked special cigarettes to activate his powers?  That's some evil stuff there.

Yeah that's him alright. Considering the era, I'm surprised he didn't have a "recharge flask" that he didn't guzzle from.

Underdog hid pills in his ring. That's just wrong.

Any late 80's early 90's kiddies in here like me?

What about Land of the Lost (not a Cartoon)

I used to be mad as hell when Shining Time Station would come on! That meant I got up too early.

Yeah, but Tobor the 8th Man was still a dope show.  His name is robot backward, obviously.

Remember Pounce, the robot tiger who was his pet for an episode or so?

Wow.  I guess that show totally passed me over in childhood. I  don't remember it at all.  Of course, some of these shows were only syndicated in certain TV markets.

I really wish I could have copies of the complete Battle of the Planets episodes.  I'm sure some purists hate it because it re-edited the Gatchaman saga, but anyway, I still have fond memories.

Perfect example of the regional factor.  We never got Battle of the Planets in our town.

1. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
2. Thundercats
3. Superfriends/Super Powers
4. Scooby Doo
5. Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends
6. Defenders of the Earth
7. The Smurfs
8. Muppet Babies
9. Flintstones (with Captain Caveman)
10. G-Force (also known as Battle of the Planets)

Honorable Mention: The Mighty Orbots, MASK, Pole Position, Jem, Inhumanoids, Visionaries, ALF, Richie Rich

I'm not going to count GI JOE and Transformers (even though if I recall Transformers came on on Saturday because they used to show both of them during the week). If I recall Inspector Gadget was the same way. I can't recall if She-Ra was.
